Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle – Movie Release
The Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie made its debut in Japanese cinemas on July 18, 2025, and has been shattering box office records ever since. Although a domestic release of the initial film occurred earlier, the international launch is not scheduled until later this month. Fans residing in the United States will have to exercise patience, as they won’t get to watch the movie in theaters until September 12, 2025. Tickets for North America will go on sale starting August 15, 2025. The film marks the beginning of a trilogy where our protagonists engage in an intense battle against the Upper Moons within the Infinity Castle.
The narrative continues directly from the conclusion of the Hashira Training Arc, with the storyline resuming. Despite their main objective being Muzan Kibutsuji, the demon progenitor, events take an unexpected turn when Nakime, a high-ranking demon, traps the Corps within an endless maze. This shift signals the beginning of the climactic phase, where most principal characters participate in a grand confrontation to halt the reign of demons. The movie was screened two weeks prior, but recently, the official Demon Slayer website unveiled the voice artists for new characters, one of whom is a renowned actor from Jujutsu Kaisen.

Jujutsu Kaisen Voice Actor Will Play the Role of Keizo in Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle

Yuichi Nakamura, well-known for his portrayal of the cherished character Satoru Gojo in “Jujutsu Kaisen,” will lend his voice to Keizo, a minor character from Akaza’s backstory in “Demon Slayer.” Gojo is one of today’s most beloved anime characters, voiced by an industry veteran. Nakamura has also garnered fame for his roles as Hajime Umemiya in “Wind Breaker,” Kuroo Tetsu in “Haikyuu,” Shigure Sohma in the reboot of “Fruits Basket,” and many more. Fans will have a chance to witness Akaza’s heart-wrenching past during his battle with Tanjiro Kamado and Giyu Tomioka, which will provide answers to many questions about him.

The marks on Akaza’s body, his disdain for killing women, and the recurring pattern while using his Blood Demon Art all stem from his time as a human. Notably, Lynn, who voices Princess Hibana in “Fire Force” and Miyako Saito in “Oshi no Ko,” will portray Koyuki, another pivotal character from Akaza’s past. Akaza’s backstory is among the saddest in the series, with both Keizo and Koyuki playing significant roles in shaping his life.
To wrap things up, it’s been confirmed that Yoshimasa Hosoya, known for voicing Reiner Braun in Attack on Titan and Fumikage Tokoyami in My Hero Academia, is joining the cast as Kaigaku, a high-ranking demon with a past connection to Zenitsu Agatsuma. Interestingly, Yoshimasa has played Kaigaku briefly in the initial season, during Zenitsu’s backstory. However, until now, the series hadn’t shown Kaigaku’s face. In Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, we can expect to delve into the pasts of some characters, introducing new figures as a result, despite the series primarily focusing on intense battles.
