Please be aware that this article contains spoilers for the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga! Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo started in September and is already nearing its end. Just a year after the original manga finished, creator Gege Akutami returned with a sequel, this time collaborating with illustrator Yuji Iwasaki. The series is planned to be short, lasting around six months and consisting of only three volumes. Recent events in Chapter 14 suggest the story is building towards a finale, as talks between the sorcerers and the Simurians have broken down. A misunderstanding led to conflict, and a sorcerer named Yakumaru made a critical decision by fatally shooting Cross, effectively dooming the Jujutsu society, which was already struggling against the powerful alien race.
With peaceful resolution impossible at the moment, Dabura, leader of the Simurians, has challenged a single Jujutsu sorcerer to a duel to decide the conflict. The sorcerers originally wanted Yuji Itadori to fight, but when they couldn’t find him, Yuka Okkotsu – the granddaughter of Yuta and Maki – stepped up as Earth’s champion. Yuka is already facing a life-threatening illness with only three months to live, making her willing to risk everything for her fellow sorcerers. However, a technique from the original manga offers a potential way to turn the battle in their favor.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Might Bring Back Binding Vow During Yuka’s Fight

Okay, so everyone’s saying Yuka is totally outmatched by Dabura, but honestly, she has to win this fight. She knows what’s at stake, and she’s even prepared to give everything she has – literally! But here’s the thing that gives me hope: Binding Vows. These are basically deals you make with Jujutsu energy – you offer something up in exchange for a power boost. They can totally swing a battle, even when the power gap is huge like this one. The tricky part is, there are so many different ways to set them up, and so many conditions you can use… it’s a bit confusing, but also super interesting!
Most characters haven’t fully explored the potential of Binding Vows, making the technique hard to understand. However, Yuka Okkotsu thinks her sister will use it as a final move. Using Binding Vows will likely require a sacrifice, but the resulting power could give her an edge against Dabura. Their fight is predicted to begin in Chapter 15, scheduled for release on December 14th on the official Manga Plus app.
