The Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga is nearing its conclusion as the fight between Yuka and Dabura continues. Originally planned as a short sequel lasting about six months and three volumes, the series has released 20 chapters, suggesting it’s almost over. Shortly after beginning, the story introduced Dabura, the leader of the Simurians. Japan is now facing a major crisis, with over 50,000 Simurians – an alien race possessing powers similar to Jujutsu sorcerers – seeking refuge within its borders. Despite attempts at peaceful coexistence, efforts failed when a sorcerer shot Cross, a member of the Simurian race.
A tragic duel unfolded, and Yuka ultimately suffered because of the mistakes of those older than her. The damaged world of Jujutsu Kaisen couldn’t overcome the danger without sacrificing a sixteen-year-old girl. When the fight began, Yuka summoned the powerful Mahoraga and compelled Dabura to join the exorcism. She’s currently concealed within one of her shadows while Dabura fights the legendary Shikigami. The latest manga chapter, number 20, reveals a new ability Dabura developed independently – a power previously demonstrated only by Satoru Gojo and Kenjaku.
Dabura Unlocks One of The Most Difficult Techniques in Jujutsu Kaisen

We already knew one of Dabura’s abilities involved light, but he couldn’t move fast enough to truly utilize it. Because Mahoraga adapts to anything thrown at it, making it impossible to hit with the same technique twice, Dabura starts fighting it with his bare hands. During the battle, he amazingly learns the Reverse Cursed Technique simply by watching Mahoraga. But he doesn’t stop there – in the newest chapter, he actually uses Cursed Technique Reversal, a skill previously demonstrated only by Gojo and Kenjaku.
This ability is incredibly rare – even powerful sorcerers like Ryomen Sukuna and Yuta Okkotsu haven’t used it. To learn it, you first need to fully master Reverse Cursed Technique, which is a form of healing. However, this new ability isn’t about healing; it doesn’t generate positive cursed energy. Instead, it modifies existing techniques, creating entirely new Jujutsu possibilities. It’s an extremely complex skill that could take a long time – months or even years – to perfect. Dabura was able to use it naturally after observing Mahoraga, making him a particularly dangerous opponent.
