Julian McMahon’s Ex-Wife Brooke Burns Reacts to His Death

Brooke Burns is remembering her ex-husband Julian McMahon.

Following the announcement that the actor from Charmed had passed away in his Florida residence on July 2 after a personal struggle with cancer, the actress from Shallow Hal – who was previously married to Julian between 1999 and 2001 – shared her sorrow on various social platforms.

As a lifestyle guide, I’d put it this way: “Sending my deepest sympathies,” I penned beneath an emotional throwback photo of my former spouse and our daughter Madison, age 25, that she posted on Instagram on July 4th. Accompanying the image was nothing but a heartbroken emoji, echoing the sorrow in this poignant moment.

Brooke’s tribute emerged only hours following the confirmation of the death of Nip/Tuck actor, Kelly McMahon (his wife since 2014), who shared a deeply emotional message about his passing at the age of 56.

Kelly expressed her feelings to NBC News on July 4th by saying, ‘With sincere emotions, I am sharing with everyone that my dear husband, Julian McMahon, passed away this week, following a courageous battle against cancer.’

She went on, ‘He cherished his family, adored his friends, found fulfillment in his work, and appreciated his supporters. Above all, he yearned to spread happiness to countless people.’

Swiftly, Julian’s ex-castmates and friends couldn’t help but praise him as a wonderful and cheerful individual, the genuine nature of the actor on FBI: Most Wanted becoming evident.

Alyssa Milano, who played his on-screen wife in Charmed, shared on Instagram, “I’m deeply saddened.” She posted several pictures of the two, accompanied by the caption. “Julian McMahon was enchanting. His smile, his laugh, his talent, his presence – he could make a room shine not just with charm, but with kindness. With playfulness. With a profound understanding of the soul.

As a devoted admirer and former co-star, I couldn’t help but ponder the prospect of our beloved Shannen Doherty, who sadly passed away due to cancer last year, reuniting with my fellow cast member, Holly Marie Combs, in their upcoming project.

Unique doesn’t quite cut it,” the actress from ‘Pretty Little Liars’ expressed, posting a series of photos from their time on ‘Charmed’ to Instagram Reels. “Your infectious enthusiasm for life and absurd yet sensible sense of humor will be deeply missed. The happiness and amusement you brought about will forever stay in our memories. I hope you find your lady friend and dance amidst those rose petals up there.

In the same vein, Ioan Gruffudd (who starred alongside the late actor in both the 2005 movie “Fantastic Four” and its 2007 sequel) shared memories of the delightful times they spent together while filming.

As I reminisce on our past encounters, despite portraying adversaries on screen, there’s always been an undeniable air of lightheartedness and camaraderie when working alongside him. Each interaction with this exceptional individual was a delight, truly a joy to be Dr. Richards opposite his Dr. Doom. It has been an honor to share the silver screen with such a talented colleague. #FriendshipGoals
