Julie Chrisley to Star in New TV Show After Prison Release

Julie Chrisley is whipping up something new.

Just seven months after receiving a pardon from President Donald Trump and avoiding prison time for their fraud convictions, reality star Julie Chrisley is preparing to film a new cooking show in February 2026, alongside her husband Todd.

Julie, 52, wants to share recipes for everyday family meals and celebrations. However, her husband, Todd, 56, believes viewers will also be curious about the food she made while she was in prison.

On their December 17th podcast, Chrisley Confessions, Todd told his wife that he’s noticed a lot of people online are interested in seeing her recreate dishes she made while she was in prison. He suggested she consider doing a segment on the podcast where she prepares those meals.

I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be bringing some of what you loved from my previous work into my new show! But honestly, I’m really excited about the freedom to experiment with any ingredients and tools I want. It’s going to allow for so much more creativity in the kitchen, and I can’t wait for you to see what I come up with!

“We have real ingredients,” she added, “and we have real ways to cook.”

As for Todd? He’s hoping to join his wife of 19 years behind the scenes.

He tried to persuade Julie to hire him as a producer, explaining, “After doing this for so long, you really need someone to handle the production side of things. You can’t be doing everything yourself, can you?”

Todd questioned Julie’s ability to handle multiple tasks, playfully suggesting she struggles with even simple things like walking and chewing gum at the same time.

Since getting out of prison, Todd and Julie Chrisley—parents of Chase, Savannah, Grayson, and Chloe—are excited about more than just returning to TV. They’re also planning to explore opening a hospitality business in Charleston, South Carolina.

He announced on Good Morning America in June that they’re planning to buy a large house—almost a mansion—and turn it into a hotel, with a television show based around the project.

Starting new businesses has definitely aided Julie and Todd in their adjustment to life after being released from prison, something Todd acknowledged wasn’t easy.

He told TopMob News in June that returning to his community and familiar environment felt good, but it took some getting used to. He explained that after living his life a certain way, the past two years required him to adapt to doing things differently.

For a deep dive into Todd and Julie’s family life now, keep reading.

Todd Chrisley is the head of the Chrisley family. Born in Georgia in April 1969 and raised in South Carolina, he first married Teresa Terry and together they had two children, Lindsie (born in 1989) and Kyle (born in 1991), before divorcing. He later married Julie Chrisley (born in South Carolina in January 1973) in 1996.

Together, Todd and Julie expanded their family with children Chase, Savannah, and Grayson, and also adopted Kyle’s daughter, Chloe. They faced challenges as a family, including Julie’s battle with, and recovery from, breast cancer in 2012.

Before becoming known for reality television, Todd built a successful real estate business, which he said generated the majority of their income. Julie was working at a bank when they began dating. The family’s life was documented in the show Chrisley Knows Best, which ran from 2014 to 2023 and spawned spin-offs like Growing Up Chrisley and What’s Cooking With Julie?, as well as various podcasts.

In 2022, Todd and Julie were convicted of fraud and tax crimes and initially sentenced to 12 and 7 years in prison, respectively. They maintained their innocence. However, in May 2025, President Donald Trump pardoned them, leading to their release from prison.

Lindsie Todd, born in September 1989, is the oldest child of Todd and Teresa. She went to Georgia State University, where she met and later married Will Campbell in 2012. That same year, she graduated and welcomed their son, Jackson. Two years later, the reality show Chrisley Knows Best debuted, featuring Lindsie and her family.

Lindsie appeared on the show for five seasons, during which viewers observed tension between her and Will. They divorced in 2016, and she left the show in 2017. This led to a period of strained relations with her family, and it wasn’t until 2022 that Lindsie, Todd, Julie, and Savannah publicly reconciled on their respective podcasts.

Todd acknowledged the difficulty of the estrangement, stating it was ultimately necessary. However, the reunion proved temporary. By March 2025, Lindsie revealed she hadn’t seen her father recently, and the following month, she confirmed she was also estranged from her siblings. She explained they simply weren’t currently serving positive roles in each other’s lives, despite a lack of animosity.

Following the pardon of Julie and Todd in May 2025, Lindsie shared an optimistic message on Instagram, referencing the idea that anything is possible with faith.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve followed the Chrisley family closely, and Kyle’s story is certainly one of ups and downs. Born in August 1991, he’s Todd’s oldest son from his first marriage. He became a dad to his daughter, Chloe, back in 2012, and we later saw Todd and Julie officially adopt her in 2016, which was a beautiful thing. While he was mainly on the first season of Chrisley Knows Best (with a quick appearance in 2021), Kyle’s personal life – including past legal issues and a sometimes-complicated relationship with his family – often stayed in the public eye. He’s been incredibly brave about sharing his struggles with mental health and addiction, and I admire that he publicly announced his sobriety in 2019.

More recently, in 2021, Kyle married Ashley Nelson and became a stepdad to her children, Haiden and Mackenzie. He’s always expressed a desire for a strong family connection, and he recently shared with TopMob News in May 2025 that he’s hopeful for a reconciliation with Todd and Julie when they return home. It’s clear family is important to him, and I’m rooting for them to reconnect.

Chase Chrisley, born in June 1996, is the first child of Todd and Julie Chrisley. He gained recognition appearing on the reality shows Chrisley Knows Best and Growing Up Chrisley alongside his family, particularly his sister Savannah from 2019 to 2022.

Chase was previously engaged to Emmy Medders, but they ended their relationship in 2023 after a period of being on and off. Later that year, he began dating Jodi Laine Fournerat, and frequently shares photos of her and his grandmother, Nanny Faye Chrisley, on his Instagram.

Following his parents’ imprisonment, Chase spoke about how the experience brought him and his siblings closer together. He told Extra in 2023 that they chose to support each other during a difficult time.

In January 2025, Chase was arrested in Atlanta on a simple battery charge after allegedly becoming intoxicated and slapping a bar manager who asked him to leave. However, his lawyers stated to People that the incident was exaggerated and that he did not assault anyone, and they planned to investigate the situation further.

Beyond television, Chase is an entrepreneur, having launched both a candle brand and a roofing company.

Savannah Chrisley was born to Todd and Julie in August 1997. She began her career in pageants, winning Miss Tennessee Teen USA in 2016 and competing for the national title that same year. She then gained further recognition through appearances on reality shows like Chrisley Knows Best, Growing Up Chrisley, The Masked Singer, and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. Beyond television, Savannah works as a real estate agent in Tennessee, founded the company Good Girl RX, and hosts the Unlocked podcast.

Savannah became engaged to hockey player Nic Kerdiles in 2019, but they ended their relationship in 2020. Tragically, Kerdiles passed away in a motorcycle accident in 2023. She later dated Robert Shiver, but they split in April 2025 after approximately two years together.

While her parents, Julie and Todd Chrisley, were incarcerated, Savannah took legal custody of her siblings, Grayson and Chloe, and actively campaigned for their release. At the 2024 Republican National Convention, she powerfully shared that the numbers 72600019 and 72601019 – her parents’ prison identification numbers – represented “her whole heart.”

Following a pardon from President Trump, Julie and Todd were released from prison, and Savannah shared heartwarming footage of their return home.

Grayson is the youngest child of Todd and Julie Chrisley. He became known to the public when the show Chrisley Knows Best first aired in 2014, just eight years after he was born in May 2006. Today, he’s a student at the University of Alabama, where he’s often recognized by fellow students.

He described the attention he receives on campus as “insane” in a February 2025 interview on his sister Savannah’s podcast, Unlocked, saying it was more than he’d ever experienced before.

When Todd and Julie went to prison, Savannah took legal guardianship of Grayson and his sister, Chloe. She openly shared her feelings about this role on Instagram in July 2023, stating that while she isn’t their parent, she loves and supports them as their sister. She described being a “bonus parent” as challenging, emphasizing that no one could replace their parents, but that raising them has been incredibly rewarding.

Savannah’s connection with Grayson has become particularly strong. On his 18th birthday in May 2024, she posted on Instagram that while many people believe she saved him, he actually saved her.

Chloe initially came into Todd and Julie Chrisley’s lives as the daughter of their son, Kyle, and his former partner, Angela Johnson, born in November 2012. They later officially adopted her in 2016.

Julie often expressed her joy about Chloe, sharing on Instagram in 2018 how much happiness the child brought to their family. Fans followed their journey raising Chloe—whom they call CoCo—on the reality show Chrisley Knows Best. When Todd and Julie went to prison, their daughter, Savannah, stepped in to become Chloe’s guardian.

Savannah celebrated Chloe’s 11th birthday in November 2023 with a heartfelt Instagram post, praising Chloe’s personality, humor, and spirit, and expressing how much she learns from her.

Following the announcement that Todd and Julie were being pardoned by President Trump, Savannah shared that Chloe was cautiously optimistic, worried something might still go wrong. However, Savannah was excited to reunite with her father and bring him home to Chloe.

Faye Chrisley, known affectionately as “Nanny,” is the mother of Todd Chrisley. He publicly expressed his deep love and gratitude for her on Mother’s Day 2021, sharing how she fills his life with love, hope, and confidence.

Born in South Carolina in September 1944, Nanny married army veteran Gene Chrisley and together they had three sons: Todd, Randy, and Derrick. Sadly, Derrick passed away as a baby, and Gene died in 2012.

Nanny became a fan favorite on the show Chrisley Knows Best with her lively personality, fun outings with her sister Frances (who passed away in 2022), and her dating life. She always showed viewers how to enjoy life, whether she was at the casino, enjoying a glass of wine, or spending time with family.

Nanny has faced challenges, including her son Todd and daughter-in-law Julie’s legal issues, and her own battle with bladder cancer, diagnosed in 2021. Thankfully, she announced in 2023 that she was in remission and feeling well.

Despite hardships, Nanny maintains a positive outlook. She shared on a podcast that life doesn’t always deal you a good hand, but you have to play the cards you’re given and keep moving forward, brushing yourself off when you fall.
