Poncle, the creator of the hugely popular bullet heaven game Vampire Survivors, is releasing a new game that’s a bit different, but appears just as captivating.
So, I’ve been keeping an eye on Vampire Crawlers since it was announced, and it’s basically a dungeon crawler where you build a deck of cards. I just watched the new gameplay trailer, and honestly, it looks really good – it seems like it’s going to be super engaging!
Vampire Crawlers takes place in the same universe as the original game, bringing back familiar characters, enemies, and items. However, this time you experience the action from a first-person viewpoint as you carefully explore large, detailed environments.

As you explore, you’ll face numerous enemies. Battles are turn-based, and you’ll use cards you’ve gathered to win.
These cards feature common elements such as the Whip, Armor, and King Bible. Each card clearly explains its effect and the mana needed to use it.
As you play, you’ll get stronger by leveling up, improving your stats, and upgrading your cards. This will help you defeat increasingly difficult enemies.
This game seems incredibly addictive, just like Vampire Survivors, and we’re really excited about its planned release on PS5 in 2026.
