Justin Bieber is wondering if it’s too late to say sorry.
Oh my gosh, Justin actually talked about it! He shared this incredibly raw moment from when Hailey gave birth to Jack Blues, their little guy who’s already fifteen months old! Apparently, it was a really tense situation last August when Jack was being born, and Justin finally opened up about how stressful it was. I’m seriously living for this peek into their life as parents!
He recalled some friction during the birth, explaining on a recent Twitch stream that the doula and the nurse didn’t get along, and he also ended up disagreeing with the doula.
I was really emotional because this is such a significant moment in life,” Justin explained. “I remember trying to be strong and supportive, especially with my doula.
The new father mentioned he trusted his gut feelings about his baby, and sometimes this led to disagreements with the doula who assisted during Hailey’s labor.
Justin explained that he told the doula, ‘I want to be there for my wife too – I’ve got this.’ He felt she was trying to take over comforting Hailey, and he wanted to be able to support her himself.
The 31-year-old also revealed that Hailey disliked how they were communicating and urged the singer to say sorry.
As Justin explained, “So she’s like, ‘You need to apologize to the doula. Just clear the air.'”
Oh my gosh, you guys, I remember when Hailey talked about Jack’s birth! It was so intense. She said they actually had to induce labor, and it ended up being a whole 18-hour process! Can you imagine? It just makes me love her even more knowing what she went through to bring him into the world.
In a recent interview with Vogue, she described childbirth as the most challenging experience of her life. She explained she utilized all available methods to cope with the pain and felt remarkably strong physically throughout the process.
She also shared that doctors used a Foley catheter – a small tube inserted into the uterus and inflated with saltwater – to try and start labor, which made the experience even more unpleasant.
Oh my god, Hailey said it was insane. Seriously, not fun at all! They actually broke her water, and then she went into labor! For hours, she said! And the craziest part? No epidural. Absolutely nothing to help with the pain! I can’t even imagine! It’s just…wow. She’s so strong!
Despite her fears, ultimately Hailey had faith in her medical team.
She said she completely trusted her doctor, which gave her comfort knowing the doctor would do everything to protect her. However, she was losing a lot of blood, and it made her think about the possibility of dying.
