Justin Bieber Responds to Mom Pattie’s Plea for Him to Heal Wounds

Justin Bieber is walking away from this conversation.

Following a somewhat mysterious Instagram post from his mother, Pattie Mallette, about supporting and praying for her son, Justin Bieber responded in a way that caught people’s attention.

I just have to say, Justin’s latest update cracked me up! He posted on October 5th that the only thing he needs healing from is a stubbed pinky toe – and it happened while he was playing ping pong! It’s so relatable and a funny reminder that even superstars have little mishaps.

Pattie, Justin Bieber’s mother, thinks the Grammy-winning singer could benefit from turning to religion for support, especially as he navigates fatherhood with his wife, Hailey Bieber, and their 13-month-old son, Jack Blues Bieber.

In a September 22nd Instagram post, she wrote a message of hope for Justin, declaring that he is free from fear, confusion, pain, and anything holding him back. She prayed that the Holy Spirit would protect him and fill his life with truth and clarity.

She prayed for him to be completely healed—in his heart, mind, and body, both inside and out. She asked for anything lost to be returned and for him to be filled with complete well-being.

She ended her message with a prayer that Justin’s life would be a powerful example of love and healing.

Religion has been a vital source of strength for Justin as he’s worked through difficult emotions and maintained his recovery.

In a 2021 interview with *GQ*, he explained his belief in forgiveness, saying, ‘God is grace. Whenever we stumble, He helps us back up. That’s how I see it. When I make a mistake, I don’t want to dwell on it or feel ashamed—it actually motivates me to improve.’

Was this another stabilizing force in his life? His marriage to the founder of Rhode Beauty, while not without its challenges, seemed to be just that.

He confessed that the first year of marriage was difficult, largely due to unresolved past trauma and a resulting lack of trust. He explained it was hard to be open with his partner about his fears, because he worried it would push them away.

Over time, however, Justin, 31, and Hailey, 28, found their footing.
