Justin Bieber’s Mom Pattie Gives Grammys Shoutout After Tense Exchange

Before Justin Bieber performs at the 2026 Grammys on February 1st, his mother shared a loving message for him on social media.

Pattie Bieber shared a message on X (formerly Twitter) expressing her excitement to see both Justin and Hailey Bieber on the red carpet, adding a clapping-hands emoji. She seems eager for their red carpet appearance!

Pattie Mallette, Justin Bieber’s mother, has publicly shown her support just three months after a somewhat mysterious exchange with him online. It started with a post on Instagram where she said she was always rooting for and praying for him.

She prayed for Justin, declaring that he would experience freedom, strength, clarity, and healing. She specifically asked for any fears, confusion, burdens, or pain to be lifted through the power of Jesus. She also prayed that the Holy Spirit would surround him with truth, light, and protection.

Pattie went on, “Help us tune out everything except Your voice, and let his life powerfully demonstrate Your strength, kindness, and ability to heal. If you believe this, say ‘amen’.”

The singer, known for “Baby,” didn’t appear to be taking the conversation seriously, joking that her only problem was a hurt pinky toe from playing ping pong.

Even though Justin and his mother, Pattie, had a difficult exchange, she has always made an effort to support him.

Tonight’s show will be much the same. Katy Perry, whose album SWAG is up for several awards – including Album of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best R&B Performance – is back at the awards show after a four-year break.

Justin will be at the award show both as a guest and a performer. This marks a return to more prominent onstage appearances for the singer, who has been dealing with health issues, including Ramsay Hunt Syndrome diagnosed in 2022. He and his wife, Hailey, are parents to 17-month-old son, Jack Blues.

Recently, the musician has made a comeback, regaining his signature style. He unexpectedly released a Grammy-nominated album in July, followed by SWAG II in September.
