Justin Timberlake Returns to Stage After Revealing Lyme Disease

Justin Timberlake is bringing performing back.

I was so thrilled to see Justin Timberlake back on stage on January 29th! It’s been about six months since he shared his Lyme disease diagnosis, and he chose to return and honor his dear friend and musical partner, Pharrell Williams. It was a really special moment.

Justin Bieber made his return to the stage at the 2026 Recording Academy Honors in Los Angeles, presented by The Black Music Collective. He performed a medley of his most popular songs with Pharrell Williams, including classics like “Senorita,” “Rock Your Body,” and his 2004 hit “Like I Love You,” which was produced by Pharrell’s production team, The Neptunes.

In recent social media videos, Justin showed off his performance skills, dancing, playing guitar, and singing live. He shares two sons, 10-year-old Silas and 4-year-old Phineas, with Jessica Biel.

Additionally, the actor from Trolls showed off a fresh appearance with a salt-and-pepper beard. After Justin’s performance, which featured a mix of Pharrell’s most popular songs, the producer praised his friend’s successful comeback.

During a TikTok video on January 29th, Pharrell playfully told Justin Timberlake, “You really showed your love tonight.” He went on to say that Justin reminded everyone how much he cares for his fans and community.

Justin returned to work while continuing to manage Lyme disease, which he revealed he was battling in July, shortly after finishing his Forget Tomorrow World Tour.

He recently shared in an Instagram post that he’s been dealing with health problems, including a Lyme disease diagnosis. He clarified he wasn’t looking for pity, but wanted to explain what’s been happening privately.

Back then, the former *NSYNC member revealed he kept touring even though he was dealing with severe nerve pain, extreme exhaustion, or feeling unwell.

He explained that the happiness he got from performing was much stronger than any temporary physical discomfort. He was very happy he didn’t give up.

Throughout everything, Justin was supported by his wife of more than 13 years, and she still gets excited about his accomplishments.

“I am a number one fan,” Jessica told TopMob News in January. “He’s so amazing live.”

Jessica gushed about the performer, saying, ‘There’s truly no one like him – his talent is unique!’ She added that he brings so much happiness, and she didn’t care what anyone thought if she danced enthusiastically for the entire two-and-a-half-hour show. She simply loves his music and expressed her deep admiration for him as both an artist and a performer.

In July 2025, the actress from Daisy Jones & The Six revealed she’d been hospitalized for a hernia. This happened because she’d been wearing pants that were too tight, which caused a gap to form in her abdominal muscles.

Someone messaged Suki on X, the platform previously known as Twitter, asking why she hadn’t posted recently. The message playfully hinted at a serious reason: the sender jokingly claimed she’d suffered a hernia six months prior due to wearing extremely tight pants, and had been afraid to mention it.

“It’s been incredibly difficult,” Devine shared on the 2025 episode of the In Depth With Graham Bensinger podcast. “I’ve been experiencing spasms all over my body, and doctors recently told me I was facing a life-threatening situation—just within the last year.”

He mentioned that his pain is intermittent, explaining that his body has some minor imperfections and isn’t quite functioning as it should.

A former contestant on The Bachelor went to the hospital because of severe back pain. He said he was in so much pain he had to crawl to get help, and the pain worsened during a road trip with a friend.

He described a strange tingling sensation that still lingered in his knees and toes as of a March 2025 podcast episode of Trading Secrets. He explained that just a few weeks or a month prior, he’d been squatting 295 pounds, but now he couldn’t even do a squat, or even stand on one leg without falling. He compared the feeling to having a stroke.

But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

Let me tell you, early this year was quite a shock! I was celebrating my husband Brendan Rooney’s birthday with a fun clay pigeon shooting outing when, unfortunately, I was accidentally shot in the face. It was a scary experience, but thankfully, I’m doing okay.

In an Instagram post, she explained that she was accidentally shot in the face by someone at a party who fired a gun unsafely. Thankfully, @thebrendanrooney quickly helped, checked her over, and took her to the hospital. She was hit five times, and one bullet came dangerously close to her right eye – less than an inch away.

According to the Kim Possible star, a small piece of something got stuck behind her eye. Doctors have advised against removing it with surgery right now, but they’re keeping a close watch on her condition. She currently has normal vision.

The actress expressed immense gratitude for surviving a frightening experience. She shared how much she cherishes her daughters, husband, family, and friends, explaining that she realized how precious life is. She urged everyone to hug their loved ones often, because things can change so quickly.

Amy Schumer is grateful for the internet, even though it can be harsh, because it helped her figure out what was wrong with her health. After noticing she looked “puffier” in photos, she was surprised to see doctors commenting online, concerned she might have Cushing syndrome. They pointed out her face looked drastically different and suggested further investigation. This prompted Amy to realize she’d been receiving steroid injections after a breast reduction and C-section, which can sometimes lead to Cushing syndrome. She wouldn’t have connected the dots without the online comments. Thankfully, doctors determined her case of Cushing syndrome would resolve on its own, and she’s now relieved to be healthy. She shared this positive news in a February 2024 newsletter, calling it the “greatest news imaginable.”

In December 2024, an AHL player suffered a skate cut during a game and needed 25 stitches to close the wound. In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a frightening health scare while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. She suddenly developed stroke-like symptoms, unable to speak and experiencing drooping on the right side of her face. Although these symptoms eventually subsided, she went to the hospital for evaluation. Doctors discovered she had suffered a small blood clot to the brain, which they identified as a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack). Further testing at UCLA revealed Hailey had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). This hole allowed the blood clot to travel to her brain, causing the TIA. Hailey has since undergone a successful procedure to close the PFO and is now recovering well.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the remaining dates of his Justice World Tour.

In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained that the virus affected the nerves in his ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on the affected side. He also mentioned it became increasingly difficult for him to eat.

Fortunately, the paralysis eventually went away. Hailey shared on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well, saying it had been a frightening and unexpected situation, but he was going to be okay and she was grateful he was fine.

Jamie Foxx recently shared details about the health scare he experienced in April 2023, which he had previously kept private. In his 2024 Netflix special, What Had Happened Was…, he explained that he was suffering from a severe headache when he suddenly lost consciousness. He doesn’t remember the next 20 days.

Initially, a doctor gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister, Deidra Dixon, became worried and took him to the hospital. Doctors discovered he had a brain bleed that led to a stroke.

After surgery, Jamie woke up in a wheelchair on May 4th, unable to walk. He then traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy. He expressed his gratitude for all the prayers he received, saying he needed every single one.

The reality TV star shared that she briefly stopped breathing while running a mile during the first challenge on the NBC competition show.

She shared on the show Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser that her memory of the event was fragmented. She recalled hearing a helicopter, feeling like she was floating, and then seeing her grandfather. After that, she remembered only darkness, followed by light, which led her to realize she had died that day.

She explained that her organs were failing. She hadn’t known she had rhabdomyolysis, a condition where the body essentially starts to shut down.

Emilia Clarke, known for her role in Game of Thrones, revealed a harrowing health battle in a 2019 essay for The New Yorker. While filming the series, she experienced a sudden and severe headache while at the gym. She described collapsing and becoming violently ill, realizing something was seriously wrong with her brain.

A hospital scan quickly revealed a subarachnoid hemorrhage – a life-threatening stroke caused by bleeding around the brain. It was determined she had suffered an aneurysm, a rupture in an artery. Clarke underwent immediate surgery to repair it, but the pain was excruciating. During her recovery, she struggled with aphasia, leaving her unable to speak clearly.

Though the aphasia eventually passed and she was discharged after a month, a 2013 scan revealed the aneurysm had doubled in size, requiring a second surgery. This procedure initially failed, causing a major bleed and putting her life at risk. Doctors had to perform a more invasive surgery, accessing her brain directly through her skull.

Fortunately, Clarke is now fully recovered and says she is “at a hundred per cent.”

She told TopMob News that everyone quickly came to her aid.

Cori ended up staying in the hospital longer than expected due to additional health issues. While she could have gone home after the stroke, she was also dealing with complications from lupus and kidney problems.

Fortunately, Cori is now recovering well. She says she’s feeling great and is working on regaining some motor skills, but overall is doing fine.

Shailene Woodley struggled with her health throughout her early twenties. In a September 2024 podcast interview, she explained that she experienced hearing loss, debilitating fatigue, and constant stomach pain. She saw many doctors but received conflicting diagnoses.

Because she grew up with a holistic approach to wellness and studied herbalism, Shailene sought help from both traditional doctors and alternative healers, hoping to find some relief.

It took ten years, but Shailene eventually began to understand the connection between her physical symptoms and her mental health. The constant physical discomfort led to anxiety around food and ultimately issues with body image and a sense of self.

Thankfully, after years of focusing on both her physical and mental wellbeing, Shailene is now healthy and feeling good. She’s happy to share that her health issues have resolved themselves.
