Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Ex Shawn Booth Addresses Nick Viall Feud

Nick Viall isn’t a thorn in Shawn Booth‘s side anymore.

Over ten years after their rivalry played out on season 11 of The Bachelorette while both were dating Kaitlyn Bristowe, Shawn—the season’s winner—recently revealed if he still considers Nick an enemy.

The winner of the season explained on the April 2nd episode of the Tomi Lahren Is Fearless podcast that their previous relationship is over. They confirmed the relationship was genuine, although it was also portrayed dramatically on the show.

The 38-year-old, who was with Kaitlyn for three years between 2015 and 2018, said his feelings about another contestant shifted after the show finished.

He explained that after being on the show for a while, it becomes difficult to distinguish between what’s genuine and what’s fabricated – whether it’s information from the producers, the other contestants, or anyone else involved.

He confessed he felt completely lost and disoriented. He’d initially believed he was rescuing the woman from a villain.

In retrospect, the trainer—who began dating Audrey “Dre” Joseph in 2023—realized the conflict had seemed bigger on television than it actually was.

He explained there was genuine conflict on the show. He was trying to defend someone he cared about and didn’t believe the other person had good intentions.

Shawn didn’t avoid addressing these issues while on the reality show. He even directly confronted Nick in one episode, accusing him of being manipulative, arrogant, and overly confident.

You know, as someone who watches these shows and observes relationship dynamics, I’ve seen a pattern emerge. It seemed like Shawn felt Nick was less focused on genuinely connecting with Kaitlyn and more concerned with how he was being perceived. He brought up how, after being seen as the ‘villain’ on Andi’s season when she picked Josh, Nick seemed to be trying to rewrite his story this time around. Shawn basically called him out on it, saying he didn’t think Nick’s intentions were purely about finding love with Kaitlyn, but about repairing his reputation.

Despite a difficult season, Nick—who married Natalie Joy in 2024—has said he regrets how he dealt with the situation involving Shawn.

He told People magazine in 2015 that the situation was upsetting and a waste of time. He felt they appeared childish and focused on insignificant details, but he held no hard feelings towards Shawn and genuinely wished him and Kaitlyn happiness.

Before The Golden Bachelor even started airing, Mel Owen faced criticism for comments he made on the MGoBlue Podcasts With Jon Jansen. He stated he wouldn’t consider women over 60 and preferred they didn’t have artificial hips or wigs.

Although his longtime partner, Peg Munson, is also in her sixties, their relationship is full of energy and excitement. The former NFL player described her to Glamour as being incredibly “high-energy.”

Even though he didn’t kneel during his final game in November 2025, the athlete—who is also a lawyer—still proposed with a Neil Lane diamond ring, explaining, “This shows our dedication to each other and gives us the space to build our future together.”

Status: Engaged

Spencer Conley, who made a good impression on Jenn Tran with his friendly personality on The Bachelorette, found romance on season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise. He shared a post with Jess Edwards (who previously tried to connect with Joey Graziadei on The Bachelor) hinting they were falling for each other – a way of saying they weren’t quite ready to say “I love you” yet. In an August 2025 Instagram post, Spencer playfully declared he’d “already won.”

Jess totally gets it! She posted that she’s feeling really happy and excited about this guy, and honestly, same! It’s just a sweet, simple way of saying she’s crushing on him, and I’m right there with her in feeling that giddy energy.

They were overjoyed – after deciding to prioritize their relationship and forgo the $250,000 prize, they got engaged and were then surprised with a check for $190,000.

“Everything that we’ve been through,” Jess said, “has led us to this exact moment.”

Their relationship eventually brought Jess to Dallas. She shared during the November 2025 After the Finale Rose special that she would be moving to Texas within a few weeks.

Status: Dating

Bailey Taylor Brown shared on Instagram in August 2025 that her date with Jeremy Simon was the best first date she’d ever had, following their time on the tenth season of Paradise. But could it also be their last? Bailey, who originally competed for Grant Ellis’s affection, and Jeremy, who almost won over Jenn on The Bachelorette, recently overcame their biggest fight yet after Bailey discovered Jeremy had hesitated about letting Susie Evans go.

Their romance continued to blossom while they were in Costa Rica. Even though they didn’t make it to the end of Bachelor in Paradise, they decided to keep dating after the show finished filming. They’ve already met each other’s families and are making plans to live in the same city.

Oh my gosh, you guys, Bailey posted the sweetest thing on Instagram back in September 2025! She said we were so lucky to have found each other, and I literally screamed! Then she added that she couldn’t be more excited for the future, and I just know it’s going to be amazing. I’ve saved the screenshot like, a million times!

Status: Dating

It looks like things are still going strong between Paradise season 10 contestants Andrew Spencer, who was on Katie Thurston’s season, and Alexe Godin from Grant’s season. Just six days after Andrew publicly called Alexe his “love” on Instagram in August 2025, she returned the sweet sentiment, calling him her “darling” in a post of her own.

Even though they picked love instead of the $250,000 prize on the Bachelor in Paradise finale, they still received $125,000 as a parting gift.

Alexe exclaimed, “This is incredible!” She was leaving with more than just financial gain; she was taking away love, which she considered the most valuable thing of all.

The show will follow Alexe and Andrew as they start a new chapter together in Chicago, where they’re relocating to build a life together.

In September 2025, she posted on Instagram about finding someone she connected with, saying she was excited to share her life with them.

Status: Split

During the finale of Bachelor in Paradise, a difficult situation arose for Kat Izzo and Dale Moss when Sean McLaughlin claimed Kat had hidden a laptop and was secretly writing letters to a former boyfriend. Kat, who works as a nurse practitioner, strongly denied having any contact with him while on the show.

She asked if they were still together before this happened. He replied that they were, explaining he hadn’t expected to meet anyone else.

Despite being eliminated before the finale of Paradise, Kat and Dale continued dating. The show later revealed that the two – Kat, who was on Zach Shallcross’ season, and Dale, a former contestant from Clare Crawley’s season – traveled the U.S. together and started making plans for a future together, including potentially moving closer to each other.

Dale wrote under Kat’s August 2025 Instagram post, ‘It wasn’t always easy, but we got through it together, and I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.’

But their journey came to a close in early 2026.

Kat mentioned on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in January that he wasn’t willing to move from New York City.

She said he didn’t see a future for his career in San Diego. She admitted she never fully understood his reasons for leaving, and wasn’t sure what truly motivated his decision.

Status: Just friends—for now

After leaving season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise, Gary Levingston and Leslie Fhima (who was a finalist on Golden Bachelor) seemed optimistic about their future together, even sharing a video about creating new memories. However, Leslie, who once inspired musician Prince, isn’t certain she wants to pursue a romantic relationship with Gary.

She shared that she and Gary talk constantly. Appearing on Bachelor Happy Hour in August 2025, she described him as one of her closest friends, someone she turns to when she needs help. He’s a calming influence, and they consistently support each other – they always have each other’s backs.

Even though they live almost 2,000 miles apart – she’s in Minnesota and he’s in California – she’s still optimistic. She explained that, for her, the most important part of any relationship, especially a romantic one, is building a friendship first. She wants to be with someone who is also her best friend as they get older.

Status: Just friends

Okay, so you will NOT believe this! Kim, from the Golden Bachelorette – my Kim! – he and Faith Martin, remember her? Gerry’s first impression rose girl? They are together! I was devastated when they didn’t make it on Paradise this season, but apparently, it just took them a little while to find their way back to each other. Faith just posted the cutest video on Instagram – it’s August 2025 now – of Kim having a hometown date with her in Washington! Seriously, my heart is exploding! They’re so cute together, I knew there was something special there!

It was sad to see them realize they just weren’t meant to be together romantically. They both came to the conclusion that they were much better suited as friends, and honestly, it felt like the right decision for both of them. It’s good they figured that out!

In a September 2025 Instagram video, Faith explained that she and the other person talk about two or three times a week, even though he lives five and a half hours away. She clarified they aren’t in a romantic relationship and never were, but they did have a good connection while filming the show.

Grant initially connected with 25 women on The Bachelor, but ultimately chose Juliana Pasquarosa. Sadly, the couple broke up less than three months after their engagement was shown on television.

Grant announced on Instagram on June 13th that he and Juliana have decided to break up. He explained that they both tried their best and cared deeply for each other, but after careful consideration, they realized they weren’t compatible for the future.

Joan Vassos, who was a contestant on The Golden Bachelor and later became the first-ever Golden Bachelorette, is engaged! After appearing on Gerry Turner’s season and then starring as the Bachelorette, she accepted a proposal from Chock Chapple.

Oh my goodness, I was completely floored when Joan said that on The Golden Bachelorette finale! It was just… everything! She was talking about how even at our age, there’s still so much hope, and then, then Chock proposed in Bora Bora! I seriously started crying. And his response! He told her, right there, that he loved her and wanted to spend forever with her! He wanted to wake up next to her every morning and kiss her goodnight! It was the most beautiful, romantic thing I’ve ever seen, honestly. I’m still getting chills just thinking about it!

Even though they’re currently in a long-distance relationship, they’re gradually starting to plan their future together.

Joan explained in a February 2026 Instagram Q&A that she and her partner are planning their wedding for 2027 because their children are also starting to plan their own weddings. She joked that they want to avoid having their wedding at the same time as their kids’ weddings.

At the end of season 21 of The Bachelorette, it seemed like Jenn Tran, who previously appeared on The Bachelor, had found love with her final choice, Devin Strader. However, during the After the Final Rose special in September 2024, Jenn shared that Devin quickly became distant once filming wrapped up.

Jenn explained to Jesse Palmer that he had strongly declared his love for her one day, but then completely changed his tune the next, denying he’d ever felt that way. She said all the promises and affection he’d expressed had vanished.

The situation escalated when Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram explaining his perspective. In the video, he took responsibility for his actions and detailed the reasons behind the breakup, which he had originally discussed in a 15-minute phone call.

Jenn said he ended their relationship during a phone call in August, but he insists she pressed him about what was happening while he was trying to tell her in person.

He said he’d been wanting to tell her face-to-face, but she pushed him to reveal it sooner than he planned. “I felt like she left me no choice,” he explained.

Jenn then met Sasha Farber while competing on Dancing With the Stars, and they became a couple. They continued dancing together even after being eliminated from the show in October 2024, but ultimately ended their relationship in 2025.

Greg Grippo, who appeared on Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette, began dating Victoria Fuller from Bachelor in Paradise in November 2022. They announced their relationship on the season eight finale of Bachelor in Paradise, but Greg revealed in April 2024 that they had broken up.

Before Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo revealed they were dating on the season finale of Bachelor in Paradise, Victoria had broken up with her fellow cast member, Johnny DePhillipo, ending their engagement.

Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist got engaged in November 2023 at the end of the first season of The Golden Bachelor and were married in a televised ceremony in January 2024. They are now divorced.

However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.

Gerry and Theresa have been having open and honest talks about their relationship and living arrangements. In an April 2024 appearance on Good Morning America, they announced they’ve mutually decided to get a divorce.

They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.

In April 2025, Gerry shared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that he’s seeing someone and things are progressing nicely.

Tennis star Joey has found love! After dating 32 women, he proposed to project manager Kelsey Anderson during the March 2024 season finale. He told Kelsey, “I can’t wait another minute to tell you that I love you,” before asking her to marry him. Joey explained that Kelsey’s positive energy made him incredibly happy and that he’d never felt that way before. He shared that meeting her showed him just how wonderful his life could be.

John Henry Spurlock, who competed for Charity Lawson’s affection, and Kat Izzo, a contestant from Zach Shallcross’ season, found a connection on season nine of Bachelor in Paradise, though it took a while to develop. John Henry proposed with a Neil Lane diamond, telling Kat she was everything he was looking for. However, shortly after the show’s finale, they announced their split. In a joint statement on Instagram, they explained that their differing career goals led them to realize they weren’t a long-term match, but they appreciated the support they received from family, friends, and fans.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I’m still reeling! Eliza Isichei, remember her from Clayton’s season? She’s ENGAGED! I was so worried after seeing how heartbroken she was with Clayton, but Aaron Bryant totally swept her off her feet! She looked absolutely stunning in white when he proposed right by the ocean. Apparently, he even asked her mom for permission – how sweet is that?! She was so overwhelmed, she said she didn’t even know what she was going to say! It’s just… perfect. But sadly, it wasn’t meant to be. They announced their split just days after the finale aired. It seems things got tough after Mexico. Aaron posted on Instagram that it was a tricky time, but they’re ending things with positivity and respect. I’m so sad, I really thought they’d make it, but I’m glad they’re handling it with grace. I’m still obsessed with Eliza, though, and I hope she finds all the happiness she deserves!

Despite hoping for a traditional proposal, Kylee Russell accepted Aven Jones’ proposal on Bachelor in Paradise because she wanted to try and make their relationship work. She had even designed an engagement gown, but never got to wear it. Kylee explained she followed her heart, believing love requires taking chances.

However, just two days after the show’s finale aired in December 2023, Kylee announced on social media that they had broken up due to Aven’s cheating. Aven later apologized, admitting he had made serious mistakes and hurt Kylee deeply.

Charity Lawson is thrilled with how her season of The Bachelorette ended! She hinted to TopMob News that things were going well, but her August 2023 finale was even more exciting than expected. Dotun Olubeko, an integrative medicine specialist, proposed to Charity, a child and family therapist, getting down on one knee and calling their love “perfect.” He asked her to marry him and make their relationship a reality.

Although they’re planning a wedding for 2025 or 2026, Charity will first be hitting the dance floor on Dancing With the Stars. Dotun surprised her with the news on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose, saying he knew how much she loved to dance and was excited for her to take on this amazing opportunity.

Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar are happily married! After some ups and downs, including challenges during the Fantasy Suites, Zach proposed to Kaity in March 2023, telling her, “I am so in love with you,” and declaring she was his world. In July 2023, the couple, who are based in Texas, announced they had taken the next step in their relationship by becoming roommates.

Kaity and her partner got married on May 23, 2025, in a small, intimate chapel ceremony. They had originally envisioned a bigger wedding, but Kaity realized it wasn’t necessary. As she shared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in June 2025, she wanted to focus on what truly mattered: their love and connection, and she felt she was getting too caught up in minor details.

However, one thing especially delighted her. Her aunt, who encouraged her to compete for Zach’s affection, discovered the charming chapel near Austin where they held their wedding. “It was exactly what I’d hoped for,” Kaity shared.

Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio, who seemed like a promising couple after meeting on Bachelor in Paradise, have broken up. Despite a strong connection – Danielle had previously experienced loss through her fiancé’s overdose, and Michael is a single father raising his son James – the couple split about a year after Danielle moved to Ohio to be with Michael. Michael explained on a podcast that while they loved each other, they weren’t compatible, and he’s grieving the loss of the future they had planned together.

Brandon Jones proposed to Serene Russell on season seven of Paradise, declaring his love would last “until the end of time.” However, their relationship didn’t last. Just five months after their engagement aired, the couple announced their split in a joint statement on Instagram. They explained that working through their issues had been difficult with so much public attention, and while they still cared deeply for each other, they were heartbroken. They asked for privacy and kindness during this difficult time.

Pilot Rachel and contractor Tino Franco ended their engagement after he kissed someone else while their season of the show was still being broadcast. Tino later admitted on the podcast The Viall Files that he deeply regrets his actions. He said it was unfair to Rachel, that he’s still ashamed of it, and wishes he could have handled things differently.

Susie Evans and Clayton Echard’s relationship, which began on season 26 of The Bachelor, had a complicated journey. After Susie initially turned Clayton down during the finale, they briefly reconnected, but ultimately split six months later. Susie, a videographer from Los Angeles, has explained that the breakup was necessary for her own well-being. In a blog post, she shared that while they had happy times, she wasn’t truly thriving and felt disconnected from her best self. She indicated that those around her noticed she wasn’t her usual vibrant self.

As a bit of a reality TV follower, I was keeping up with Susie’s dating life after her time on ‘The Bachelor,’ and she actually started seeing Justin Glaze for a while. Sadly, they announced their split back in August of 2024 – it’s always tough when a relationship doesn’t work out!

Michelle, an elementary school teacher from Minnesota, accepted a proposal and a $200,000 check for a future home from Nayte Olukoya, a sales executive from Texas, after appearing on a reality show. However, the couple broke up six months after the show’s finale in December 2021, as they ultimately didn’t have a strong enough connection. Nayte later admitted on a podcast that their relationship was filled with arguments and disagreements, and that ending things without an in-person conversation was a mistake.

Michelle later began dating Jack Leius in 2023, and they got engaged the following year. They were married in Minnesota in June 2025.

Viewers really hoped that Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian would have a lasting relationship, picturing a future with cozy Sunday mornings together. However, the couple from season seven of BIP only lasted a few months. In a joint statement released in January 2022, Maurissa (who previously dated Peter Weber) and Riley (a contestant on Tayshia Adams’ season) announced they were breaking up. They explained that they both needed to focus on personal growth and hadn’t expected to split.

Status: Split

The first same-sex couple from Bachelor in Paradise got engaged on season six, but they revealed they had broken up in 2019 on Halloween.

We’ve always cared deeply for each other, and doing what’s best for both of us has always been our priority. With love and sadness, we’ve decided to separate so we can both grow as individuals. This is what we believe is best for our future and for where we are right now, as shared in a joint statement.

Despite a breakup during season seven of Bachelor in Paradise, Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer realized they were meant to be together. After initially living in San Diego, the couple recently bought a house in Noah’s hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Abigail announced the exciting news on Instagram in July 2023, joking that they were entering their ‘Chip and Joanna Gaines era.’ They’re now planning a wedding after Noah proposed in San Diego in August 2023.

Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile, who first connected on reality TV, secretly tied the knot in October 2022! The couple, who got engaged on Bachelor in Paradise and are known from The Bachelor (Serena was a finalist on Matt James’ season and Joe, a grocery store owner from Chicago, was famously sent home early by Becca Kufrin), decided to have a small ceremony at City Hall in New York City about a year after getting engaged. They still plan to have a larger wedding celebration in September 2023. Serena, now co-host of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with Joe, shared the news with a playful message: “JUST MARRIED!! We are still having a wedding this September but who doesn’t want to get married twice!”

Kenny Braasch proposed to Mari Pepin with a Neil Lane diamond ring during the 2021 finale of Paradise, declaring his deep love for her and saying he couldn’t imagine life without her. Mari, who first appeared on The Bachelor and charmed Matt, relocated from Maryland to Kenny’s hometown of Chicago to begin planning their future together. Before their November 2023 wedding—a 65-person oceanfront ceremony in Puerto Rico—the couple cemented their bond with matching tattoos during a May 2023 trip to the Bahamas. Kenny had previously been eliminated by Tayshia Adams during week five of Paradise.

Status: Married

Becca Kufrin, who starred on The Bachelorette, and Thomas Jacobs, a contestant from Katie Thurston’s season, found love on season seven of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021. They briefly split up during filming but got back together after the show ended.

In May 2022, they announced their engagement, revealing that Becca was the one who proposed. She told TopMob News she hoped their unconventional approach would empower others to break tradition. Thomas returned the gesture by proposing to her in October. They welcomed their first child, a son named Benson, in September 2023. Becca shared on Instagram that no words could express how much love and wonder they felt for their baby boy.

Just weeks after Benson’s birth, the couple had a surprise wedding ceremony on October 13th.
