Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes Shares Best Advice From Tom Brady

Patrick Mahomes is disclosing some touchdown-worthy advice he received from NFL legend Tom Brady.

More recently, the Kansas City Chiefs‘ quarterback shared that he received a valuable piece of advice from another quarterback, who spent 20 seasons with the New England Patriots and an additional three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This counsel has been beneficial both on and off the playing field for him.

On the July 7th episode of the Up & Adams Show, Patrick commented, “He constantly emphasizes being true to yourself.” He feels strongly that men can detect when someone isn’t genuine or not putting in the effort, a quality he exhibited daily. This authenticity is likely why he commanded such respect from others.

For Patrick, it’s this advice that he takes with him each and every day.

He stated that from now on, his focus will remain the same throughout his professional journey, and he feels content with what he has accomplished so far. Regardless of whether people appreciate him or not, he remains true to himself. His ultimate goal is to put forth his best effort in each football game.

Apart from remaining authentic to himself, Patrick – who is partnered with Sterling (4), Bronze (2), and Golden (6 months), wife Brittany Mahomes – emphasized that the genuine joy he finds in the game significantly contributes to his achievements.

He shared that playing for the Kansas City Chiefs has always been an enjoyable experience, which is what makes it unique. During last season, he noted, it wasn’t about pressure, but rather a strong desire to win every week because we felt compelled to, not just for fun or tradition.

Instead of him, the 29-year-old approaches things differently. He emphasizes, “Let’s get out there and enjoy the game. Victories will follow if we play to our abilities. We possess the skills, we have the coaches, and no one in the NFL works harder than us. So let’s go out there, have fun, and the outcomes will take care of themselves.
