Kanye West’s Wife Bianca Censori Details New Marriage Milestone

Kanye “Ye” West is keeping it in the family.

The rapper celebrated a new achievement with his wife, Bianca Censori, by having her direct his latest music video for his collaboration with Travis Scott, “Father.” This was Bianca’s debut as a director.

Bianca explained to Architectural Digest that her first film felt like a logical next step, building on her experience in architecture and performance art. ‘It’s not a change in what I do, but how I do it,’ she said in an interview published March 30th. ‘I’m still focused on creating environments and exploring human feelings, I’m just doing it through the medium of film now.’

The 31-year-old filmmaker explained she envisioned the church-based video as one unbroken shot, aiming to create a dreamlike sequence where different people, settings, and time periods blend together seamlessly.

The set design was really important,” Bianca explained. “Each shot needed to contain and support everything that was happening in the scene.

Bianca described how she made her creative ideas a reality for her husband, Kanye, whom she married in 2022.

She explained that she designed the installation with an open layout, letting viewers experience different scenes at the same time within the same area. Every detail – from lines and colors to textures and viewpoints – was carefully chosen to blur the line between what’s real and what’s imagined, ultimately creating an environment that felt like being inside a dream.

Besides collaborating with Bianca, Kanye also worked closely with Travis, who co-parents 8-year-old Stormi and 4-year-old Aire with Kylie Jenner. Kanye and Kylie’s sister, Kim Kardashian, share four children together: North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6.

Travis explained in a 2025 interview with Complex that Kanye West is his children’s uncle. He shared that Kanye took him in when he was 19 and helped him learn about music, not just by teaching, but by letting him participate in the creative process.

Working with him was a huge part of my development as a musician – I made a lot of beats through that process. I’m always learning, whether we’re creating music, films, clothing, or anything else we collaborate on.

However, Kanye, 48, distanced himself from Travis at the time.

Ye expressed frustration with the current state of relationships within the entertainment industry, stating that the terms ‘uncle’ and ‘brother’ don’t represent genuine family bonds. He believes there’s a lack of strong male figures providing guidance, and that prioritizing careers has led to children being overly exposed to and influenced by the industry itself. He feels parents aren’t adequately protecting their children from this influence.

Recently, Ye appeared more willing to let his children be in the public eye. He released the song “Piercing on My Hand” featuring his daughter North in February, and she even joined him on stage during his concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 1st.

They seemed happy and relaxed, smiling and sharing small affectionate gestures as they walked through the mall.

The couple was seen together at the 67th Grammy Awards. On the red carpet, Censori took off her large coat, exposing a very revealing outfit – a nearly see-through dress.

After their photo moment, the duo left the venue, opting not to stay for the ceremony itself.  

After the Grammys, Ye shared some really sweet posts about Bianca and our night. He posted on Instagram, and it’s been taken down since, but he said something like, ‘Just so everyone knows, my wife is currently the most searched person on the entire planet!’ It was just a really proud, loving thing to say, honestly.

In his song “BIANCA,” Kanye West alluded to difficulties in his marriage, rapping about his wife leaving him and attempting to have him involuntarily committed to a hospital. He stated he wasn’t ill, simply confused by the situation.

Shortly after his new song came out, he fueled speculation about getting back together with Censori by sharing pictures of them together online.

Although rumors of a divorce circulated earlier in the year, the couple spent the summer showing they were still together, even enjoying a date at Denny’s.
