Kate Gosselin Addresses Speculation She Married Former Bodyguard

Kate Gosselin has not added marriage to her equation.

Kate Gosselin, known from the show Jon & Kate Plus 8, addressed rumors about her relationship with boyfriend Steve Neild. Fans noticed Steve wearing a ring on his ring finger in a TikTok video posted on January 7th, sparking speculation about their commitment.

One fan excitedly commented, “Wow, are you married? I’m so glad you’re doing well!” They also asked how the person has maintained their weight during recovery.

Kate Gosselin, mom to 25-year-old twins Mady and Cara, and 21-year-old sextuplets Alexis, Joel, Leah, Aadan, Hannah, and Collin, quickly responded to a rumor. She told a fan, “No, that’s just my usual jewelry.” She added that she’d gained 15 pounds but hopes to lose it now that she’s being more active.

Although the TLC star didn’t get married, she shared a peek at her relationship with Steve. In a video, Kate—who is using crutches after a serious leg injury last December—was shown shopping for clothes during a vacation with Steve, who was filming her.

Kate admitted she’d spent more than $100 of Steve’s money while she was shopping.

Kate joked that her GoFundMe supporter, Steve, was generous enough to buy her a few things, but also treated himself to a t-shirt and shorts. She added that Steve rarely buys clothes for himself, and she was really pleased he did this time.

She added, “Now we’re going to the beach!”

Kate and Steve, who worked as a bodyguard for the Gosselin family between 2008 and 2014, revealed they were in a relationship in November. Interestingly, Kate’s ex-husband, Jon, also got married that same month to Stephanie Lebo.

The former healthcare worker shared the news in a heartwarming Instagram video posted on November 8th, which highlighted her passions.

Included in the photo carousel were two pictures of Steve, in which Kate captioned, “My boyfriend.”
