Kate Middleton Wears Sentimental Jewelry Statement During Rare Outing

Kate Middleton is keeping her loved ones close.

In her first public statement since revealing her cancer diagnosis, Princess Catherine wore a special collection of rings that seemed to be a loving tribute to Prince William and his late mother, Princess Diana.

Kate was seen at the Future Workforce Summit in London on November 18th, wearing her late mother-in-law’s famous sapphire and diamond engagement ring, along with her wedding band and two other diamond rings – a gemstone eternity band and a pavé band.

Kate first revealed a stunning eternity ring—a Cartier band adorned with 19 sparkling diamonds and sapphires—in a video released in August, after completing her chemotherapy. The video highlighted the 2024 Paris Olympics’ Closing Ceremony.

She finished her ring collection with her diamond wedding band, which she started wearing after the birth of her and William’s son, Prince George, in 2013. This diamond band was worn above a striped ring.

The 43-year-old, who is also mother to 10-year-old Princess Charlotte and 7-year-old Prince Louis, attended the event in London wearing a gray pantsuit with a white blouse that had a flowing ruffle down the front.

Kate, through her Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood, encouraged business leaders at the summit to invest in the well-being of children and families from the earliest stages of life.

The love children receive in their early years is crucial for their development and future well-being. This initial connection is vital, and it’s built over time through consistent care, attention, and affection, creating a secure and supportive environment that helps them grow into healthy, fulfilled adults.

She explained that the loving connections a child experiences shape their emotional development and build their ability to cope with challenges and feel connected to others. We need to prioritize creating environments where love can grow, because that’s how we build a brighter future.

This is the royal’s first public appearance in two years, following her November 2023 campaign focused on early childhood development. Shortly after, Buckingham Palace announced she had planned surgery and was recovering in private.

In March, Kate and Prince William announced she had been diagnosed with cancer and had begun preventative chemotherapy. The family then provided updates on her health, and in September, Kate shared that she had finished her treatment.

She recently shared in a video that her priority now is staying healthy after finishing chemotherapy. While she still has a long journey ahead to fully recover, she’s taking things one day at a time. She’s also hopeful about returning to work and making some public appearances in the next few months when she feels able.

Even after everything she’s been through, she’s starting this next step in her recovery feeling hopeful and grateful to be alive.

Following Prince Andrew’s decision to step down from his Duke of York title, King Charles III announced that his brother would also lose his home at Royal Lodge and no longer be known as Prince Andrew.

Buckingham Palace announced today that King Charles has begun the official steps to strip Prince Andrew of his royal titles and honors. He will now be known simply as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

As a long-time observer of the Royal Family, I was saddened to hear that Prince Andrew has decided to step back from using his Duke of York title. It’s become clear that the ongoing issues surrounding his connection to Jeffrey Epstein made it impossible to continue using the title with dignity. He confirmed this on October 17th, and while it’s a difficult situation, I believe it’s the right decision given the circumstances.

After talking with The King and my family, I’ve realized the ongoing accusations against me are taking attention away from the important work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” Prince Andrew said in a statement. “As I’ve always done, I’m prioritizing my family and country. Therefore, I stand by my decision from five years ago to step back from public duties.

Andrew stated that, with the King’s approval, he was taking things a step further. He would be giving up his royal title and any honors he had received. He also reaffirmed that he strongly denied the claims made against him.

In October 2025, the King and his oldest son attended the Countdown to COP30 event at the Natural History Museum in London.

The couple took photos outside the museum and then went inside to talk with government officials and activists focused on fighting climate change. This event happened before the COP30 World Leaders Summit in Belém, Brazil, in November, which Prince William will attend as a representative for his father.

In September 2025, Sarah, Duchess of York, stepped down as a patron of Julia’s House after an old email from 2011 surfaced. The email revealed she referred to Jeffrey Epstein as a friend.

After reports surfaced this weekend about the Duchess of York’s communication with Jeffrey Epstein, Julia’s House has decided it’s no longer appropriate for her to continue her role as a patron of the charity. The charity has informed the Duchess of this decision and expressed its gratitude for her previous contributions, according to The Guardian.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following this case closely, and it’s come to light that the emails were actually sent by Ferguson following a threat she received from Epstein. It explains a lot about the context surrounding those communications.

After a 19-month absence, Prince Harry was spotted arriving at Clarence House—the King’s home in London—apparently to visit his father before attending another event in the city.

Harry arrived at the house around 5:20 p.m. on September 10th, but Charles had come back just a few hours earlier.

Princess Anne’s son and his former husband, Mark Phillips, announced on August 1st that he will marry his girlfriend, Harriet Sperling. The couple had been dating for over a year.

The couple’s representative shared in a statement to Hello! magazine that both families were told about the engagement together and were very happy about it.

Just a day before turning 78, the royal was made an honorary Vice Admiral by the United Kingdom’s Royal Navy.

Camilla is the first woman to receive this honorary title. It’s awarded only by the monarch—in this case, her husband, King Charles III—based on a recommendation from the First Sea Lord, currently Sir Gwyn Jenkins.

Just hours before she was scheduled to attend, Princess Catherine canceled her appearance at Royal Ascot, the annual horse race. Kensington Palace confirmed the news to NBC News.

The palace says Kate was sad to miss the event, but she’s still working out how to manage her public appearances as she recovers from cancer.

Prince Harry’s lawsuit seeking extra security ended on May 2nd when the courts dismissed it. This came over a year after a previous request for increased protection was denied by the High Court’s Royal and VIP Executive Committee.

After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stopped being full-time working royals in 2021 and moved to the U.S., their security protection was reduced. Since then, Harry has asked for continued security arrangements when he travels to the U.K.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following the news, and it’s clear Prince Harry is deeply upset about the recent legal outcome. He recently shared with the BBC that he feels devastated by the decision, and honestly, it’s led him to question the future for his family. He doesn’t foresee a situation where he’d feel comfortable bringing Meghan and their children back to the UK right now, and that’s a really significant statement about where things stand.

In an interview with the BBC on May 2nd, Prince Harry said his father, King Charles III, isn’t currently speaking to him due to disagreements about security. He expressed hope that they could resolve their differences and rebuild their relationship.

Prince Harry expressed a desire to rebuild his relationship with his family, including his father, but indicated the next step depends on his dad. He shares two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, with Meghan.

He doesn’t foresee returning to the U.K. with his family anytime soon. He expressed sadness at the thought of his children not being able to experience his home country.

Harry explained that his father has significant influence and could potentially solve the situation. He suggested this wouldn’t require direct involvement, but rather allowing professionals to handle things without interference.

After years of fighting, he’s now seeking peace and a chance to make amends. He explained, “Life is too short, and I don’t know how much time my father has left.”

Oh my gosh, it’s been over a year since King Charles told us about his cancer, and he just shared the most beautiful message! He wrote on April 29th that going through everything with his health and treatment has really shown him how amazing people can be. It’s like, it’s brought out the very best in everyone, and it’s just… so inspiring to see! I’m just completely touched by everything he shares.

In a booklet offering support to cancer patients and their families, Charles explained that receiving a diagnosis is understandably difficult and scary. However, drawing from his own experience, he shared that it can also reveal incredible kindness and strength in people.

He expressed gratitude to the healthcare workers who cared for him, and shared that the experience deepened his respect for the incredible work done by the organizations and people present, many of whom he’s known and supported for years.

Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – were absent from the royal family’s traditional Easter service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor on April 20th.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla joined the rest of the royal family in celebrations, but Prince William and Kate chose to spend the weekend at their country home in Norfolk with their children, according to several news sources.

Honestly, it just felt wrong not seeing them at Easter again. It’s been two years now, and this year was especially tough, happening so soon after Kate shared her news… it just didn’t feel right, you know? It’s like something was missing, and it really hit me hard.

On April 15th, Jason Knauf was named the new Chief Executive Officer of Prince William’s environmental initiative, The Earthshot Prize. In a statement on the organization’s website, Knauf expressed his excitement about collaborating with the talented team and dedicated community to further their goal of promoting hopeful solutions for the planet.

He was promoted almost seven years after he raised concerns about Meghan Markle, claiming she bullied two personal assistants and tried to discredit another staff member. Representatives for the Sussexes denied these claims, telling The Times that the story was a deliberately damaging attempt to spread false information.

Buckingham Palace looked into the claims, but the investigation concluded in 2022 with no public report on its findings.

A father and son happily watched the UEFA Champions League Quarter Final match between Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa at Parc des Princes stadium.

Graham Craker, a former bodyguard to Prince Harry and Prince William, passed away in April at the age of 77.

Craker was with Princes William and Harry when they found out their mother, Princess Diana, had passed away, and he was also present at her funeral.

In 2017, Craker told The New York Post that he saw Prince William acknowledge him while the Queen Mother’s hearse passed. Craker had been standing at the back of the hearse and nodded to William, who seemed reassured that Craker was with his mother during her last journey.

Prince Frederik, the son of Prince Robert and Princess Julie, passed away on March 1st at the age of 22 after a struggle with a rare genetic condition called PolG mitochondrial disease.

Robert shared in a statement that his son, Frederik, is a superhero – not just to their family and friends, but to countless people around the world, especially through the work of Frederik’s PolG Foundation. Robert believes Frederik’s greatest strength was his ability to motivate others and lead by being a positive role model.

Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, reached a legal settlement with News Group Newspapers – the company that publishes The Sun and formerly published News of the World – on January 22nd. He had sued them in 2019, claiming that journalists and investigators working for the newspapers illegally obtained information about the royal family.

According to NBC News, the settlement involved the company paying a significant amount in damages and offering a complete and sincere apology to Prince Harry. They also publicly admitted to the widespread and deeply invasive coverage of both his life and the life of his mother, Princess Diana.

On January 14th, The Princess of Wales shared the wonderful news that her cancer treatment has been successful and she is now in remission.

She announced on X (formerly Twitter) on January 14th that her cancer is in remission and she’s concentrating on getting better. She added that, like anyone facing a cancer diagnosis, it’s taking time to adjust to life afterward.

She added that she was excited about the year ahead and optimistic about what it holds.

Oh my gosh, I’m absolutely heartbroken for Meghan! I read that her sweet rescue beagle, the one she adopted way back in 2015 – even before she met Harry! – sadly passed away. I just know she adored that little pup, and I can’t imagine how much she’s hurting right now. It’s just so sad!

On January 7th, she shared a heartfelt message on Instagram about her sadness. She wrote about crying so much that it felt overwhelming, describing how she’d sometimes stand in the shower hoping the water would wash away the pain, even though she knew it wouldn’t. She acknowledged that it was okay to feel those emotions.

Meghan fondly remembered her beloved Guy, saying, “Thank you for always loving me, and for bringing so much joy to my life.”
