It certainly baffled Kate Winslet.

I was so fascinated to hear the Oscar winner talk about the surprisingly risqué question the rapper asked her when they both hosted and performed on Saturday Night Live back in 2004. It was a really memorable moment, and she finally shared what happened!

Kate revealed a surprising story on The Graham Norton Show on December 5th: Eminem once asked her to shave his backside.

Jacinda Ardern, Seth Meyers, Alan Carr, and talk show host Graham Norton were both surprised and entertained by the news.

She stressed that he actually asked her, “Would you shave my butt?” and she responded by politely declining, explaining that she doesn’t offer personal grooming services. She then expressed disbelief, saying, “Seriously?”

She explained, “I’m not going to use something cheap and temporary for something so personal. I’ve actually never shared that story publicly before.”

TopMob News has reached out to Eminem’s team for comment but has not yet heard back. 

Although Kate only hosted Saturday Night Live once, in 2004, she would love to return and do it again.

She enthusiastically shared in a 2020 interview at the Hamptons International Film Festival how much she enjoyed her time on Saturday Night Live. She described the incredible energy and said it felt like where her career truly began, giving her experience with quick, live comedy and performing with large groups.

This film is noteworthy for two reasons: it’s the directorial debut of an Academy Award-winning filmmaker, and the screenplay was co-written by her and the 21-year-old son of her former husband, Sam Mendes, named Joe Anders.

She told Jimmy Kimmel on his show on November 19th that he began writing this project when he was 19 years old. She added that he’d been writing his whole life, so it wasn’t unexpected that he would try screenwriting.

Once Joe finished writing the script, he asked Kate – who I absolutely adore, and who is a wonderful mom to her daughter Mia Threapleton, 25, from her previous marriage to Jim Threapleton, and also to her son Bear Winslet, 11, with her husband Edward Abel Smith – if she’d be willing to take a look at it.

Kate remembered Joe telling her, ‘Even if it’s not good, just say it is.’ She thought that was really kind of him. When she read what he’d written, she found it funny, heartwarming, honest, and realistically messy – just like families often are. She told him she thought it had the potential to be a movie.

“I pooped myself one time,” he admitted. “I did, I’m sorry.”

To be honest, Jelly Roll (whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord) didn’t intend to cause such serious harm.

He firmly believed it was just a harmless prank. “I sincerely apologize,” he said. “I saw the audience turn from supportive to completely against me.”
