KATSEYE Teases New Album Release Date, Grammys 2026 Performance

KATSEYE is ready to make their Grammys debut

The international girl group, featuring Yoonchae, Manon Bannerman, Lara Raj, Daniela Avanzini, Sophia Laforteza, and Megan Skiendiel, will perform on February 1st, giving fans a preview of what’s next for them.

Lara shared with Erin Lim Rhodes that they’ve been working hard and are excited to perform at the Grammys this Sunday. She revealed this during the ‘Live From TopMob Stream: Spotify Best New Artist Party 2026’ on January 29th.

The band Gabriela’s dedication has earned them a Best New Artist nomination, alongside Lola Young, The Marías, Leon Thomas, Olivia Dean, and sombr. They are thrilled with this recognition and enjoying the excitement.

“We’re feeling so excited,” Megan added. “We’re so happy to be here.”

The group, formed on Netflix’s Popstar Academy in 2024, knows fans are eager for their new album, and Sophia assures it’s on the way.

She hinted that the release date was a secret, but promised it would be announced very shortly.

As for their Coachella debut? That’s also in the works.

Lara hinted that they’re putting a lot of effort into their Coachella performance and have a special surprise in store.

Despite their growing success, Manon emphasizes that they continue to support each other as their popularity increases.

The most important thing for us is that we consistently support each other,” Manon explained to TopMob. “We make sure we’re all navigating this challenging experience together and that no one gets left out. We’re really committed to it.”

She explained that they make a point of staying in touch and regularly checking in on each other, which is a high priority for them.

A key part of this pop group’s success is how much representation they offer fans worldwide. The members come from diverse backgrounds, including the Philippines, South Korea, Switzerland, and the United States, allowing girls around the globe to see themselves reflected in the group.

“It’s incredibly important to us,” Daniela explained. “It’s always been our goal to make sure ‘Every girl can see herself in us.’”

We’re incredibly proud of this,” she said. “It’s a responsibility we take very seriously, and we’re all just truly thankful for the opportunity.

Music has been a huge part of my life since I was a child, and it’s truly transformed me. A year ago, I was nineteen and really struggling with depression, feeling lost and unsure of what to do. I wrote all these songs by myself, in my bedroom. Now, looking back, I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who supported me and encouraged me to keep creating.

The singer of “Back to Friends” also shared his love for his fans, adding to his thanks.
