Katy Perry Shares Holiday Pics With Justin Trudeau & Ex Orlando Bloom

Katy Perry had herself a cozy little Christmas.

Katy Perry shared photos of her holiday season, showing she spent time with both her ex-fiancé, Orlando Bloom, and their four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom. She also revealed she celebrated with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Katy Perry, 41, shared a series of photos and videos on Instagram on January 7th, documenting her holiday season. The post, titled “Holidaze,” included pictures of her daughter Daisy and Orlando Bloom playing together outdoors, as well as a video of the family ice skating at Somerset House in London. One sweet photo showed Daisy playfully covering Katy’s face with sparkly stickers.

Orlando Bloom’s 14-year-old son, Flynn Bloom, who he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, was also included in a recent photo series. A picture showed his name on a holiday name card next to his dad, Orlando, as well as Daisy and Katy.

Justin popped up in a quick vacation photo, sporting sunglasses and a smile while Katy kissed him on the cheek.

Rumors about the couple began circulating in July, but Katy officially confirmed their relationship five months later while sharing details of her trip to Japan. During the trip, she had dinner with Japan’s former Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko Kishida, and they all posed for a photo in front of a Christmas tree.

In a December post on X, Justin, 54, said he and Katy were happy to meet with Fumio and Yuko. He thanked Fumio for his friendship and dedication to global stability and a brighter future for all.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom ended their nine-year relationship in July, but they’ve continued to prioritize their family. They recently took their children, Daisy and Flynn, to see Paddington: The Musical in London right before the new year.

As a longtime fan, I know Orlando and Katy are really prioritizing a healthy, friendly relationship even after their breakup. It’s clear they both want to remain on good terms, and that’s honestly really heartwarming to see.

“We’re gonna be great,” the 48-year-old said on Today in September. “It’s nothing but love.”

“We’ve got a beautiful daughter,” he added. “I feel grateful for all of it.”

For a look at how more stars have navigated co-parenting after splitting up, keep reading.

Despite ending their romantic relationship in 2023, the Grammy-winning artist and their Swedish-Syrian partner still work together to raise their children, Lucia and Renn.

Jwan shared with Attitude in September 2025 that they have a truly great relationship with their ex-partner. They’ve established a peaceful and stable co-parenting arrangement, living just ten minutes apart and staying in touch every other day. Their children are their top priority, and they both love them very much.

He described it as more than just an experience—it’s a lifestyle, and a truly wonderful one at that.

Oh my gosh, I’ve been following Megan and Brian’s journey for years, and I’m so impressed with how they handle things! They’ve really figured out co-parenting, you know? Brian told TopMob News that everything always has to be about Noah, Bodhi, and Journey – their kids come first, always. He’s so right, a breakup is tough on kids, but you get to choose how it affects them. He says it’s all about ‘picking your battles,’ which is so smart. He explained that you split up for a reason, so expecting to suddenly get along is unrealistic. It’s not about them getting along anymore, it’s about co-parenting, which is totally different! And Megan totally agrees! She was on Drew Barrymore’s show and said it’s crucial to never, ever say anything bad about the other parent, not even a little dig. She doesn’t let any negativity into her energy around the kids because she knows if she doesn’t accept and love their father, she’s rejecting a part of them. He’s literally in their blood and their minds, and they exist because of him. It’s just… beautiful, honestly. They’re really putting their kids first, and it shows.

Josh Duhamel and Fergie continue to demonstrate a positive co-parenting relationship. Duhamel recently shared on The Jess Cagle Show how supportive Fergie has been, even welcoming his wife, Audra Mari, into the family. He noted it could have been a difficult situation, but Fergie has handled it with grace.

Duhamel also revealed that Fergie was genuinely happy for him and Audra when they announced they were expecting their son, Shepherd, who was born in January 2024. Shepherd joins big brother Axl, whom Duhamel shares with Fergie.

Duhamel emphasized Fergie’s kind nature and her excitement for their growing family. He expressed gratitude for their civil relationship, especially considering his divorce from Fergie was finalized in 2019, two years after they separated. He’s thankful things have gone so well.

Irina Shayk, who has a daughter named Lea with Bradley Cooper, doesn’t really like the idea of “co-parenting.” In a 2021 interview with ELLE, she explained that when she’s with her daughter, she’s fully a mother, and when Lea is with her dad, he’s fully her dad. She believes parenting is simply parenting, regardless of relationship status.

Irina and Bradley ended their four-year relationship in 2019, but they’ve remained friendly. Despite their busy lives, they continue to take family vacations, spend time together in New York, and support each other.

In a 2023 interview, Irina said Bradley is “the best father Lea and I could dream of,” and that their successful co-parenting relationship works because they actively make it work.

As Mariah Carey has said, building a strong relationship takes time, and that’s true for co-parenting as well. Nick Cannon, who shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with Carey, says they’ve found a good routine.

Cannon described their co-parenting relationship as successful and highlighted their friendship, saying Carey has taught him a lot and that’s what family is all about. Carey also seems pleased with how well they’ve navigated co-parenting since their split and divorce in 2014.

She explained to Harper’s Bazaar that she strives to be fair to her children, ensuring they enjoy time with both parents, understanding the challenges of growing up with divorced parents.

In addition to Moroccan and Monroe, Nick Cannon has several other children: Zion and Mixolydian, Zillion Heir and Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; Golden “Sagon,” Powerful Queen and Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell; Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; Onyx Ice with LaNisha Cole; and Halo Marie, as well as the late Zen, with Alyssa Scott.

We can’t talk about modern breakups without mentioning Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. The Oscar-winning actress and the Coldplay singer famously announced their split in 2014 and coined the phrase “consciously uncoupling.”

On The Drew Barrymore Show in 2020, Gwyneth explained that prioritizing their children, Apple and Moses, was the biggest challenge. “It’s harder than it looks,” she said. “Some days, you really don’t want to be with the person you’re divorcing. But if you’re committed to family dinner, you do it. You take a deep breath, make eye contact, remember your agreement, smile, hug, make a joke, and recommit to building a new relationship.”

The Goop founder emphasized that she and Martin will always remain a family. “That’s how it will be forever,” she said. “It’s not always perfect, and we have good days and bad days, but we’re working towards unity, love, and what’s best for the kids. Just because you break up doesn’t mean you stop loving the things you once loved about that person.”

Following their divorce in 2022, Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady have been navigating the challenges of co-parenting. Gisele admitted in a 2024 interview with Robin Roberts that some days are harder than others, but her and Tom’s children, Benjamin and Vivian, are smart and adaptable. She emphasized that she can only control her own actions and that the kids will naturally test boundaries. Gisele believes a balance of time with both parents is beneficial, allowing the children to learn from two different perspectives and experience richer lives. Tom echoed this sentiment, explaining that they are both committed to raising their children – including Jack, his son with Bridget Moynahan – with love, kindness, empathy, and strong values, despite the changing world.

Ben Affleck, having played a superhero himself, recognizes one in his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. He considers her a “superhero mom” when it comes to raising their three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. Affleck, who divorced Garner in 2015 after several years of marriage, has praised her as an amazing mother and a great co-parent. Jennifer Lopez, who married Affleck in 2022 before filing for divorce in 2024, also acknowledged Garner’s skills as a co-parent, noting that she and Affleck work well together in raising the children.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik broke up in 2021, but they’ve successfully navigated co-parenting their daughter, Khai. Zayn shared in a 2023 interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast that they have a strong relationship focused on Khai’s well-being, and things are going well. Gigi told The Sunday Times that the most important thing for parents in this situation is to prioritize their child’s happiness, as they’ll be interacting with their co-parent for a long time. She added that she’s especially happy Khai gets to spend time with both of her parents.

Khloe Kardashian is committed to co-parenting with her ex, Tristan Thompson, despite past difficulties. She admits it’s challenging to be cordial with someone who has hurt her, especially when their children, True and Tatum Thompson, are involved. In an interview with tmrw in January 2024, she explained that she had to learn to manage her emotions and avoid impulsive reactions, like posting regrettable things online. Ultimately, Khloe prioritizes her children having a strong relationship with Tristan, who also has children Prince (with Jordan Craig) and Theo (with Maralee Nichols). She believes that if Tristan wants to be an involved father, she shouldn’t stand in the way.

As a longtime fan, I’ve always admired how Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have navigated their relationship after their split. It’s so heartwarming to see they’ve created this really supportive co-parenting dynamic for their son, Flynn. It’s not just them, though! Katy Perry, Orlando’s current partner, and Evan Spiegel, Miranda’s husband, are all included, and it genuinely seems like everyone gets along. I remember Miranda being so open about how happy she is for Orlando and Katy, saying that Flynn having happy parents is everything. It’s amazing to me how they’ve all made it work, even with their busy lives and growing families – Orlando and Katy have little Daisy Dove, and Miranda and Evan have three sweet boys, Hart, Myles, and Pierre. Despite everything, they always find a way to come together for important occasions, prioritizing what’s best for Flynn and the whole family. It’s a really beautiful example of how to co-parent with respect and love, and honestly, it makes me so happy to see!

Okay, so I’m totally obsessed with Kate Hudson, and I just read this amazing interview! Basically, she doesn’t believe in completely cutting exes out of her life – unlike some people! She says she and Chris Robinson, Ryder’s dad, just need to check in on each other now and then. And Matt Bellamy, Bingham’s dad? She calls him a wonderful co-parent! She explained it so beautifully – just because a romantic relationship ends doesn’t mean the love disappears. You can still have a different kind of love, especially when you share a child. It’s all about focusing on that love for your kid. She also has Rani with Danny Fujikawa, and honestly, she says her little family unit – three kids with three dads – is so strong and happy, even if it doesn’t look ‘traditional’ to outsiders. Seriously, she’s killing it! It’s just…goals, you know? She’s a supermom and I admire how she makes it all work!

It can be challenging for divorced parents to get along, but Anna Faris says her relationship with her ex-husband, Chris Pratt, his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, and their children has improved. Faris, who shares son Jack with Pratt, told People magazine in 2022 that everyone is getting closer, and she really appreciates that. She feels both families are protective of each other and values their support.

Faris described Katherine as “awesome” and praised how she interacts with Jack. She also admires Katherine’s ability to manage everything, especially with her own children, Lyla, Eloise, and Ford.

Now happily married to Michael Barrett, Faris says things feel much easier with time, and she’s glad the family has moved past any difficult feelings. She feels a sense of relief and peace with how the blended family is functioning.

It’s helpful when co-parents can agree and work together, and Mel B says it took some time for her and Eddie Murphy to build that kind of relationship.

Mel B, reflecting on past difficulties with PTSD and controlling behavior, explained to Us Weekly in May 2025 that it was challenging to build a strong relationship with Eddie while she was going through those struggles, but she gradually managed to do so. Despite those challenges, she noted their friendship has actually grown stronger in recent years. She shared that her teenage daughter, Angel, visits Eddie, and they enjoy spending time and going on vacation together. She praised him as a dedicated father to his ten children.

Even though the TV show The O.C. was full of drama, Rachel Bilson and her ex, Hayden Christensen, have a positive co-parenting relationship. Bilson told People magazine in 2024 that things are going well and their daughter, Briar Rose, is thriving with lots of support.
