On August 6th, Katy shared an Instagram post featuring a single image. This photo depicted a large, bloody wound on her right kneecap, with her legs casually resting on the edge of a bathtub. A series of bruises encircled her knee as well.

In a different slide, the “Teenage Dream” singer wrote to her friend: “I slid down on my knees, which normally makes me say ‘ahhh,’ but this time it was more of an ‘arghh’ for me.

The post also features a picture of Katy and Orlando Bloom’s 4-year-old daughter Daisy, along with a video of her putting on a puppet show.

The former American Idol judge simply captioned the post, “We continue to be on tour.” 

Apart from Katy’s injury, another incident occurred during her Lifetimes Tour that is worth mentioning. Specifically, three days prior to her post, a 40-year-old Katy assisted a young fan named McKenna on stage for a performance together. Unfortunately, McKenna collapsed shortly after.
