Keegan-Michael Key, Jonathan Scott Reveal Olympic Sports They’d Win

If the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Games have you fantasizing about Olympic glory, you’re not alone.

Stars like Usher, Simone Biles, and Michelle Yeoh attended the Olympics in Italy, but many other celebrities are watching from home. The exciting competitions are even getting some of them thinking about their own athletic potential!

Actor Keegan-Michael Key jokingly told Daryn Carp of TopMob News at the NBA All-Star weekend that he believes he could potentially win a medal in cross-country skiing or biathlon. He admitted he’d need to train, but added that he’s a pretty good shot.

Although he felt very capable in certain areas, the former MADtv cast member was just as sure about the sports he knew he wouldn’t be good at.

Okay, so he said he’s definitely out on the luge – no way! But biathlon? That’s totally doable, apparently. He used to be a huge cross-country skier as a kid – not the downhill stuff, he’s scared of moguls, haha – but he was actually good at cross-country! He kept saying it’s all about strong quads, which, honestly, makes so much sense. I can just picture him gliding along, a total natural! It’s perfect, absolutely perfect!

Jonathan Scott was confident in his own physical abilities, but he acknowledged that his twin brother, Drew, was his toughest competitor.

Drew often jokes that he’s the family’s athlete, and he definitely is skilled, but that doesn’t mean he excels at everything, according to the HGTV star. Speaking with TopMob, she said she thinks she’d be a strong hockey player, while basketball was always Drew’s sport—he was better at it than her when they were growing up.

The TV star, who was born in Canada and is engaged to Zooey Deschanel, will also need to decide which country to compete for – a situation he’s already familiar with as a fan.

He also mentioned that many people don’t realize he’s a British citizen, which makes it hard to pick a team to support. He’s been so impressed with the talent this year, though, that he finds himself rooting for everyone.

Although Storm Reid doubted she could win a medal herself, the actress, known for her role in Euphoria, enthusiastically cheered on one member of Team USA.

She told TopMob she really looks up to Chloe Kim. She loves snowboarding and wishes she was more skilled at it, but she’s working on improving. She thinks snowboarding is awesome.
