Kelly Clarkson is happier than ever to see her daughter following in her footsteps.

During her Studio Sessions residency at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum in Las Vegas on July 18, the singer known for “Since U Been Gone” performed a duet of her favorite song with her daughter River Rose onstage. This special moment was captured and shared on social media.

Following their charming rendition of “Heartbeat Song,” it wasn’t hard for the audience to spot that River, dressed identically to her mom in a tucked-in t-shirt and flared jeans, is indeed a miniature version of her mother.

One person commented, “Just like her mother,” while another observed, “Wow, River is nearly as tall as her mom.

Meanwhile, the 11-year-old effortlessly charmed the audience on stage, and more recently, she dabbled in entertaining a live TV studio audience. Intriguingly, she even got to be a producer for a day during an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show back in April.

Today, Kelly shared at the start of the broadcast that her daughter is with her. She mentioned later in the show that her daughter was spending the day shadowing showrunner Alex Duda. In an excited moment, Kelly exclaimed, “Wow! You have a microphone and everything! You’re so professional! Oh my goodness. I love it. You’re like a miniature producer.

The former contestant on American Idol, who is also a mother to 9-year-old Remington “Remy” Alexander with her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, mentioned that River participated in all the morning meetings as if she were an adult. She has a very professional demeanor.

However, the “Breakaway” artist herself has acknowledged in the past that balancing co-parenting duties along with a hectic work schedule sometimes makes it challenging for her to attend all her children’s significant activities and academic milestones.

Kelly questioned Kylie Kelce during an episode of her ‘Not Gonna Lie’ podcast on March 25, asking, ‘Why are events scheduled in the middle of the day at schools?’ She felt frustrated when school activities were planned for inconvenient times, like a performance at 10 a.m. on a Thursday, saying, ‘I have to be the one causing disruption because you chose this time—when we’re all busy working.’

My children, much like any other kids, occasionally compare me to other mothers who might seem more present in their lives. However, there’s an interesting twist when it comes to my partner.
