Matthew Stafford is an MVP in more than just the NFL.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always touched by families who support each other, and the Stafford family truly embodies that spirit! Watching Matthew Stafford accept his NFL Honors award was extra special because his wife, Kelly, and their four kids – 8-year-old twins Sawyer and Chandler, plus Hunter, 7, and Tyler, 5 – were right there with him, cheering him on. It was a beautiful moment, and it’s clear he’s their MVP too!
Oh my gosh, did you SEE the quarterback’s daughters?! They were absolutely stunning! They all wore these long, gorgeous black dresses with these amazing silver mesh sleeves – honestly, they looked like quadruplets! The twins, they let their hair flow with these beautiful curls, but Hunter and Tyler went with updos, which was so chic. And when their dad brought them on stage with him to accept his MVP award? I nearly died! It was the cutest thing ever, and then they all went to Raising Cane’s for chicken fingers! A glam family outing – seriously, my heart couldn’t handle it! I’ve already screenshotted every picture I could find.
During the awards ceremony, fans got a heartwarming look at Matthew’s personal life. In his acceptance speech, he thanked his teammates and coach Sean McVay, then turned to his wife, whom he called his “favorite people in the world,” and acknowledged their over ten years together.
Matthew told Kelly she was amazing, expressing how much he appreciated everything she did for their family and kids. He shared that others in the audience knew how supportive she’d been to everyone in his life, calling her his rock. He wanted her to know he recognized and valued her sacrifices, and that he loved and appreciated her very much.

Then the 37-year-old turned his attention to his girls beside him.
As a dad, one of the greatest joys of my life is sharing these moments with my four amazing daughters – Chandler, Sawyer, Hunter, and Tyler! Seriously, give it up for them! It means the world to me to be able to pass on everything I’ve learned from this game to them, and honestly, their support is incredible. Having them on the sidelines, cheering me on, is the best feeling, and I’m already looking forward to them being there next year, helping me win!
Oh my gosh, it’s just the sweetest thing ever! Matthew’s kids are always there supporting him, you can usually spot them on the sidelines. They were even at the NFC Championship game – can you believe it?! It was so heartbreaking though, because the Rams lost to the Seahawks 31-27, and it meant they wouldn’t be going to the Super Bowl on February 8th. I was devastated for him and his family!
Despite being upset by the loss, the athlete used it as an opportunity to teach his children a valuable lesson.
During a recent podcast episode, Matthew shared a touching moment after a game. He explained that his daughter was upset for him and told him so while he held her. Matthew reassured her, saying his life was wonderful. He expressed gratitude for the chance to play the game he loves for 17 years, and for the support of his four daughters and wife.

During their team’s off week, Matthew Stafford and his wife, Kelly, spent a fun, fall day with their kids close to home in Los Angeles.

Kelly shared on her birthday that she’s thankful for her family and the joy they bring to her life, especially her daughters’ cheerful smiles and her husband’s sense of humor.

Following his performance at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Matthew had a heartwarming reunion with three of his daughters in a private suite.

It’s understandable that Matthew’s children are all tired and want to cuddle after spending the whole day supporting their dad at his game.

Matthew’s daughters always show their Rams spirit by wearing the team’s colors, whether they’re at a game or heading to school.

When Matthew worked from home during COVID-19 shutdowns, his daughters quickly wore him out.
