Mark Consuelos is happy to entertain Kelly Ripa’s what-ifs. 

During the August 25th broadcast of “Live With Kelly and Mark,” the long-married pair (having tied the knot in 1996) discussed the hypothetical possibility of seeking love again if their 29-year union ever came to an end. Kelly openly stated that she had no interest in pursuing relationships with significantly younger men, avoiding the label often associated with older women dating younger men.

The 54-year-old stated that if we weren’t a couple, my future spouse – I was about to say, ‘May my future spouse rest in peace already’ – would need to be practically deceased, needing one foot and one arm in the grave.

The daytime host, who has children named Michael (age 28), Lola (age 24), and Joaquin (age 22) with Mark, openly expressed her intention of seeking only non-romantic camaraderie and a substantial legacy.

She went on to say that he seems to be suffering from a significant case of impotence, and his wealth is estimated to be around 6 billion dollars.

Mark, aged 54, appeared encouraging towards his wife’s proposal, chuckling and affirming with nods while she discussed her desired outcomes, subsequently expressing his own perspective on how they might navigate a hypothetical separation.

During the episode, he expressed to Kelly, “I’d feel sorrow at your absence, as it seems you might have departed, since I can’t think of any reason for you to go.
