Kendra Wilkinson is telling haters to hop off.
Oh my gosh, she totally shut down all the haters! I was so thrilled to see her just completely own her beauty and celebrate getting older. It’s like, yes! You go, queen! She’s absolutely stunning, and it was amazing to see her tell everyone to just get over it and embrace aging gracefully. I’m obsessed!
Kendra recently shared a selfie on Instagram, explaining she’s stopped using filters and is now comfortable with how she looks. She acknowledged some comments about her aging, saying she’s perfectly fine with it, even if others consider it ‘poorly.’
I’ve been surprisingly happier recently, even though I’ve gained a little weight and am starting to get wrinkles. I’m not going to let anything bring me down again. I’m a well-rounded, single woman who enjoys life, and I’m hoping to hold onto this feeling after working so hard to achieve it.
After becoming known on the reality show The Girls Next Door as one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends, Kendra—who has two children, Hank Jr., 16, and Alijah, 11, with her former husband, Hank Baskett—is now living a more private life away from the public eye.
I started working in television at a very young age and spent the next twenty years trying to please other people. Now, at 39, I’m focusing on my own happiness and well-being, even if it means having less money and recognition.

She shared that she’s currently working as a realtor and raising two children, ages 16 and 11. She said watching her kids grow up brings her the most joy, and she expressed immense gratitude for the day, wishing everyone a Happy Women’s Day with a message of love.
Her comments come nearly one year after addressing body shamers about her post-Playboy figure.
In a March 11th Instagram post, Kendra shared a poolside photo and wrote that she was hesitant to post, anticipating negative comments about her body and age. However, she decided to share the photo anyway and celebrate herself.

Despite the cyberbullying, she remained positive. She realized she was genuinely happy with where she was in life and felt good about herself.
She shared that she’s proud of how far she’s come and is ready to embrace a positive new chapter in her life. She feels a sense of freedom now that her time with Playboy is over, not because she regrets it, but because she feels more mature and unburdened than she did when she first left. It’s a truly liberating feeling.
I’m just not as worried about what others think anymore. I used to be more afraid of things I couldn’t change, but I’m done with that! It feels amazing to finally be living with less depression. If people don’t like me or what I’m doing, or if they think I’ve changed, that’s okay with me – they can move on.

In a May 2024 TikTok video, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe’s daughter shared that she had a significant, and upsetting, experience online. She explained that two strangers had made comments about her body, which she described as a milestone – though clearly not a positive one.
She explained that one person told her she should use Ozempic because they thought she was overweight, while another accused her of starving herself because she was too thin. She pointed out that her weight hadn’t changed during that time, and even if it had, it wouldn’t have been anyone’s concern.
As a huge admirer of Ava, I was so moved by her recent words. She beautifully pointed out that judging anyone based on their appearance is just wrong – no one deserves that. She reminded us that everyone carries their own hidden battles, and that true beauty goes so much deeper than just what you see on the surface. It’s a message I really needed to hear, and I think a lot of others did too.

After facing criticism about her body, the singer of “I’m Good” responded to her critics, explaining she’s had enough of comments about her appearance. In a June 2023 tweet, she acknowledged she had gained weight, but firmly stated she was tired of the conversation and wanted it to end.
She also explained that people’s weight naturally changes, saying, “It’s a normal part of life, and you never know what someone else is dealing with – whether it’s medication, illness, or something else.”

Following criticism about her appearance in an Instagram photo, the actress known for The House Bunny responded to those commenting on her weight. She explained she felt the need to address the situation to raise awareness about body shaming. She admitted she was upset by the inappropriate comments, especially because she was just having fun with the photos. She noted that the angle of the picture made her appear smaller than she is, but emphasized that offering unsolicited and critical opinions about anyone’s body is unacceptable.
She explained that commenting on her weight, whether to say she’s too thin or needs to eat, is hurtful and a form of body shaming. She made it clear she won’t tolerate any kind of body shaming.
It’s been over a week, and she finally posted a picture of herself relaxing in a bikini. Her caption was amazing – basically telling anyone who had something negative to say that she’s sending them love, and she’ll keep shining no matter what! She even added some cute emojis – a kiss and a peach – and a peace sign to really drive the point home. Honestly, it was such a confident and positive message, and I loved it!

In February 2021, the actress publicly addressed rumors about her being pregnant. These rumors started after photos of her on a film set in Australia, wearing a dark blue tank top, circulated online. She directly criticized a news outlet, the New York Post, in an Instagram Story, stating that it was unacceptable for people to comment on a woman’s body in 2021, and emphasizing that she was not pregnant.

It’s so frustrating to see people constantly commenting on my appearance online, especially after seeing Christina Hall address it recently. She posted a video explaining that she’s actually at the weight she’s always been, and that she just naturally bounces back after having babies. It’s like, we’ve seen her go through pregnancies and return to her normal self, so all this concern about her needing to ‘eat’ is just unnecessary and frankly, a little hurtful. She assured everyone she’s perfectly healthy, and honestly, it’s great she’s speaking up about this!

The singer, who recently faced criticism online about her appearance, responded to body-shamers without saying a word – her reaction spoke for itself.
During her performance at Manchester Pride 2025, she wore a large T-shirt featuring a graphic of a woman in a cropped tank top and black pushup bra.

After her separation from Jim Edmonds, the former Bravo star asked fans to stop commenting on her weight. In a December 2019 Instagram post, she admitted she was very thin and often received comments like ‘Eat a burger.’ She explained she was focusing on her children and asked for understanding and kindness as she navigated a difficult time.

The famous singer recently responded to criticism about her weight, telling Entertainment Tonight that she doesn’t see a problem with being thin. She explained that she’s naturally slender, does ballet, and stays active for her overall well-being – both mental and physical.
She acknowledged that criticism comes with the territory and that she prioritizes her own well-being. She explained that she focuses on what benefits her and leaves behind what doesn’t, letting her team handle any potential fallout. Ultimately, she believes it’s impossible to make everyone happy, and she needs to prioritize her own feelings.

Back in June 2020, Lizzo responded to people criticizing her body. In a TikTok video, she explained that she’s been consistently working out for five years, but not to achieve anyone else’s beauty standards. She’s focused on reaching her personal fitness goals, and she made it clear that’s nobody’s business but her own. She powerfully stated that she is beautiful, strong, and dedicated to her work.

The singer behind the hit “Confident” has consistently spoken out against body shaming. In a 2016 interview with Glamour, she shared that when someone calls her fat, even when she’s feeling insecure, she just laughs it off, knowing she’s doing her best. She also pointed out that she doesn’t have a six-pack—and honestly, she doesn’t even want one.

Following the actress’s decision to share a nude photo online, a user criticized her, writing in a now-deleted tweet that it was inappropriate for someone in their 50s to post such content, especially during menopause, and suggested she should be spending time with her grandchildren instead. The commenter lamented what they saw as a lack of graceful aging.
Halle quickly responded with a playful question: “Did you know a shrimp’s heart is in its head?”

The “Señorita” star previously took to Instagram Stories to send a message to her haters.
She started a long post explaining that she’d been avoiding social media to protect her feelings. She accidentally saw a headline about people criticizing her body, and her first reaction was to feel incredibly insecure, worrying about what the pictures might look like. She immediately started thinking about her cellulite and wishing she’d sucked in her stomach. But then she realized it’s natural to have unflattering photos – no one’s body is perfect! She feels it’s especially sad for young girls growing up seeing so much airbrushing, because they’re striving for an unrealistic ideal.
This is for young girls growing up with social media. They’re bombarded with heavily edited photos, and it’s easy to start believing that’s what real people actually look like. Soon, everyone gets used to seeing perfect, airbrushed skin, and it becomes the new standard – but it’s not real. It’s fake, and that’s a problem. We’re losing sight of what a real woman’s body looks like. It’s perfectly normal to have cellulite and fat – it’s natural and beautiful! I refuse to fall for these unrealistic expectations, and I hope you will too.

In May 2019, the singer shared a video of her performance at the Hangout Music Festival, where she was wearing a black leotard. Someone commented on social media, questioning why she didn’t appear as curvy as she used to. The singer responded directly, saying she had gained weight and asked people to accept it.
She criticized the fashion industry for allegedly refusing to provide her with dresses for the Grammys due to her size. In a January 2019 Instagram post, she urged the industry to promote body positivity, stating, “Empower women to love their bodies instead of making girls and women feel bad about their size.” She emphasized that beauty comes in all sizes, declaring, “My size 8 body is still going to the Grammys! #LOVEYOURBODY.”

The celebrity had previously shared a photo of her family celebrating the Golden State Warriors’ win over the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. In the picture, she’s holding her son, Canon. Someone then commented, asking if she was pregnant again.
She responded with a firm “No way!” and explained that her 30-pound son was making it difficult to pose for pictures.
Someone else commented that if the child weighed 30 pounds, they would have significant health problems. The cookbook author quickly responded, telling the commenter, “Excuse me? Absolutely not.”

Only a week after giving birth, the podcast host shared a message with her followers on Instagram.
I’m really frustrated and need to get this off my chest,” she wrote in December 2018. She’d originally wanted to share a photo of her stomach to document her recovery, but she’s glad she didn’t. The negative comments on her previous photo were shocking. She wanted to clarify a few things: she didn’t have plastic surgery, a personal chef, or endless time to work out. She did have a C-section and is still recovering, though she has a high pain tolerance. She’s had three stomach surgeries before – for her appendix and gallbladder, in addition to the C-section. In the photo people were commenting on, she was wearing a belly wrap and high-waisted pants, and she feels ridiculous having to defend herself. She wonders why she’d be shamed even for being vulnerable about her recovery. She asks why women constantly compare themselves and then tear each other down. She believes everyone is different, and all bodies are beautiful, heal at their own pace, and simply look different. Why do we shame others for not fitting a certain mold, or feel bad about ourselves for not doing so? She hopes we can be kinder to ourselves, recognize every woman’s unique journey, and appreciate that we’re all beautiful. She encourages lifting other women up without tearing ourselves down in the process. She sends her love and returns to focusing on her baby.

In April 2018, actress Candace Cameron Bure posted a photo of herself having dinner with her son, Lev Bure. Someone commented negatively, questioning why she still appeared heavier than her husband despite her workouts and asking if she’d changed her eating habits.
The actress quickly responded to the criticism. “If a 25-inch waist seems large to you, it’s because you’re viewing it with unrealistic expectations. Take care,” she wrote.
