After Kevin Costner left Yellowstone during its fifth season, he focused on developing Horizon: An American Saga, a large-scale Western film he’d been planning since the 1980s. Originally, the first two films were intended for release on HBO Max, but plans changed, and they are now scheduled for a theatrical release.
