Kevin Jonas is quickstepping away from the Mirrorball trophy.
One of the Jonas Brothers has revealed he’s turned down multiple offers to be on Dancing With the Stars. He simply isn’t interested in competing on the ABC show.
During a recent interview with InStyle, Nick Jonas playfully questioned his brother Kevin, saying, “You’ve been getting asked this question every season for the past 20 years, right?”
The singer of “Changing” immediately confirmed he received an invitation to compete, but explained why he decided not to participate.
Kevin said he’d been declining for a while, explaining, ‘It’s just not my thing, but I really appreciate the offer. I’m a big fan!’
Kevin isn’t planning on joining the dancing competition himself, but he’s watching season 34 closely. The finalists include Robert Irwin, Alix Earle, Elaine Hendrix, Jordan Chiles, and Dylan Efron.
“We definitely watch the show,” said the star of A Very Jonas Christmas Movie. “It’s a lot of fun, and it feels great to have Dancing With the Stars back on the air.”
And Nick’s equally excited by this year’s competition. As for who and shared who he’s rooting for.
“It’s having a moment,” the “Jealous” singer noted. “I’m pulling for Mr. Irwin.”
Kevin has added another name to his list, saying, “And Efron. Dylan’s participating too.”

Fans of the Jonas Brothers can expect to hear their music played during next week’s semi-finals and the three-hour finale, as Kevin hinted they’ll be performing to one of the band’s songs.
In their new movie, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, Kevin, Nick, and Joe Jonas show off some dance moves, and the film includes many appearances by their family members.
Kevin, whose wife Danielle Jonas and daughters Valentina, 11, and Alena, 9, also appear in the movie, told TopMob News on November 10th that filming the first scene with the whole family helped get the movie off to a fantastic start. He said, “It was great.”
Since the brothers played versions of themselves in the movie, it felt natural to include their real family in the cast as well.
We decided to include our actual family in the project,” Nick explained, noting that his wife, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and their 3-year-old daughter, Malti Marie, also appeared in it. “It wouldn’t have felt real or worked to cast other actors as our family. Having them involved really set the perfect mood for everything.”
The Jonas Brothers aren’t planning on competing on Dancing with the Stars anytime soon, but keep reading to find out more about the favorites and other stars on season 34…
