Kevin Spacey is grateful for the support.
He recently explained that reports about him being homeless aren’t true. The clarification came after an interview with the House of Cards actor gained a lot of attention and led people to believe he didn’t have a home.
In a video posted on November 23rd, he addressed the many people who had offered him support, saying he wanted to respond directly to them, not the media. He expressed deep gratitude for their kindness – offers of a place to stay and simply checking in on him – but clarified that he isn’t actually homeless in the traditional sense of the word. He felt it would be dishonest to let people think otherwise.
The 66-year-old explained that he’d told the interviewer he was traveling and staying in hotels and Airbnbs, following work opportunities just like he did when he began his career. He added that he’s been working almost constantly all year and feels very thankful for that.
Kevin clarified that while he recognizes some people are experiencing homelessness and living in their cars, the article made it clear he wasn’t one of them, and he never intended to suggest that he was.

He didn’t share specifics about where he was living now, but he once again thanked his fans and family for their support.
He ended his video by saying, “You can all get back to your lives now.” He thanked viewers for watching, for being patient with him, and for all their support.
The video from the Baby Driver actor appears shortly after The Telegraph published an article claiming Kevin was “homeless.”
In a recent article, Kevin, who was acquitted in two sexual misconduct cases, explained his current living situation. He stated he’s constantly traveling for work, staying in hotels and Airbnbs, and currently doesn’t have a permanent home.

Honestly, it breaks my heart to hear he had to give up his house in Maryland. It’s just not fair! All this trouble started back in 2017 with those awful allegations, and the costs to defend himself have been absolutely insane. It’s ruined his life, and now he’s lost his home too. It’s devastating!
“Just take it one step at a time,” he said. “All my belongings are in storage, and I’m hoping that if things keep getting better, I can eventually figure out where I want to live long-term.”
He admitted he’s facing some financial difficulties, but while bankruptcy was considered as an option, he ultimately didn’t file.
