Khloe Kardashian Responds to Savannah Guthrie’s Apology

Khloe Kardashian isn’t keeping a grudge against Savannah Guthrie.

Khloé Kardashian called Savannah Guthrie a “doll” after the Today anchor apologized for bringing up rumors about Khloé’s father during an interview in 2012.

Khloe praised Savannah’s apology, commenting on an Instagram post that it ‘takes a big person to take accountability,’ and expressing her admiration for Savannah.

The admiration is mutual. Savannah complimented the 41-year-old, calling them a “total class act” for their graceful response to an unexpected question.

Oh my gosh, I was mortified for Savannah! She shared that she asked Khloe Kardashian about those awful rumors concerning her dad – right before they were about to stop filming! Apparently, it happened just ten seconds before the segment ended, and Savannah was so embarrassed she even brought it up!

The 53-year-old explained she had recently begun hosting the morning show and felt immense pressure to ask the question, despite her instincts as a journalist telling her not to.

Savannah admitted she felt pressured by the producers to ask a sensational question, but she wasn’t comfortable doing so.

Khloe once playfully dismissed questions about whether Robert Kardashian was her biological father—a topic fueled by rumors from her father’s former wives—by jokingly telling Savannah, “I guess I don’t know who my dad is.”

Since then, the Good American co-founder has openly responded to rumors about who her parents are.

Khloé revealed on her old talk show, Kocktails with Khloe, that a particularly difficult time was when one of her father’s wives came forward years after his death. This woman claimed Khloé wasn’t his biological daughter and said he’d confided this to her.

She explained that she told them, “You can say whatever you want about me and my sisters, but leave my dad out of it. He’s passed away and deserves respect.”
