Khloe Kardashian Reveals Where She Stands With Good American Brand

Khloe Kardashian is still very much involved with Good American—Bible.

After rumors circulated online that Kim Kardashian might be distancing herself from her company, which she started with Emma Grede in 2016, she clarified the situation.

Khloe Kardashian recently shared on her podcast, Khloe in Wonder Land, that she remains a co-founder and owner of Good American. While she initially focused on building the brand, she feels Good American is now successful and stable enough to thrive independently.

She added, “But I am still very much co-founder and owner of the brand.”

From the beginning, Khloé and Emma were very deliberate about launching Good American. Emma, especially, had a clear idea of what she wanted to achieve.

Emma, 43, explained on the September 1st episode of The Mel Robbins Podcast that she realized a major problem existed: the fashion industry largely ignores women who wear sizes 16 and up. She pointed out that 68% of American women are above a size 16, but most stores in malls only cater to a very small percentage of them – typically just two or three out of hundreds.

She explained that she was thinking back to when she first came up with the idea, about ten years ago. A lot has changed since then, especially because of the success of her brand, Good American.

Honestly, when they needed a co-founder, it was obvious who it had to be! Khloe, the host of Khloe in Wonderland, was the perfect choice. I mean, she just gets it, you know? It was a total no-brainer, and I knew she’d be amazing from the start!

Emma explained that she believed having real skill was essential to attracting an audience. So, she decided to create a brand that offered something new and unique, and combine it with her talent to make it a huge success.

Reflecting on her meeting with Khloe and Kris Jenner, the entrepreneur said it didn’t feel particularly groundbreaking at the time. She explained that she was very confident in her idea, having spent a lot of time carefully planning how it would succeed.

Following the success of Good America, Khloé has started other businesses, such as Khloud, her high-protein popcorn brand which debuted in 2025.

As someone who’s always been focused on wellness, I found myself constantly hitting up fitness stores for quick protein options. But honestly, I was never impressed! So many of them just didn’t taste good, and when I looked at the ingredient lists, they were packed with artificial ingredients and fillers. I really wanted something simple, delicious, and that would actually help me reach my protein goals without all the unnecessary stuff. It was a bit of a selfish desire, but I knew I deserved a better option!

Khloe Kardashian is motivated to stay healthy, especially with her children True, age 7, and Tatum, age 3, who she co-parents with Tristan Thompson.

She explained that having children changes your perspective. You realize you need to prioritize staying healthy for a long time, and one of the best ways to do that is by focusing on your diet and making healthy choices in the kitchen. While we can’t control everything in life, we can control what we eat.

Khloe explained that having children often motivates people to want to improve their habits and make healthier choices.
