After successfully conducting a stress test, Tripwire Interactive has unveiled the launch trailer for Killing Floor 3. True to form, it’s packed with Zed-killing action, slow-motion scenes (with Zed Time resembling its original appearance), heavy metal music, and even the Queen Crawler character. Take a look at it below.
In “Killing Floor 3,” the action unfolds many years after its previous version, where a massive company named Horzine is producing and dominating the Zed (undead) creatures. Players can choose from six Nightfall Specialists, who embark on various missions to combat the undead menace. Additionally, there are other tasks to accomplish, such as gathering samples. Tripwire has hinted that they will expand the storyline following the game’s release.
On July 24th, Killing Floor 3 is set to debut on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms. The game experienced a delay following unfavorable responses during its closed beta earlier this year. To improve the overall experience, enhancements have been made to areas like visuals and weapon recoil. Regrettably, some features, such as enabling Specialists to use any perk, won’t be available at launch, but will be added post-release. Keep an eye out for further updates in the meantime.
