Kiln launches April 23

Get ready to throw down in Kiln, a chaotic, team-based pottery battle game! Xbox Game Studios and Double Fine Productions announced it will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store) on April 23rd. It will also be available with Xbox Game Pass. Before the full launch, PC players can try it out during an open beta test on Steam from April 9th to 11th.

Kiln is a unique online game where you get to be creative and destructive! You’ll enjoy making beautiful pottery, then breaking it apart in exciting battles. Create your own pots, team up with friends, and control colorful spirits in online arenas – your pottery becomes their bodies as you compete against others.

The pots you create impact how you play and what strengths you have. Do you prefer large or small pots? Wide or tall? You can choose to make anything from plates and jugs to cups and bowls – the choice is yours!

Discover a wide variety of characters, each with different strengths, attacks, and ways to play. Team up to find the best combinations and strategies to defeat your opponents and collect enough water to destroy their base. Victory will require skillful fighting and strong teamwork as the battlefield fills with broken remains. Can your team conquer the challenge?

Once the fighting is over, visit The Wedge to try your hand at pottery. You can personalize your creations with decorations, and then show them off to others – and check out what they’ve made as well!
