The Kardashian family member shared that despite not seeing each other often lately, she and her former publicist are still close friends.

Kim, 45, shared on Khloe Kardashian’s podcast, Khloe in Wonder Land, on January 21st that she loves Jonathan, and she believes many people assume they don’t communicate with each other.

Kim Kardashian, who shares four children – North (12), Saint (10), Chicago (7), and Psalm (6) – with her ex-husband Kanye West, has said that they’ve simply grown apart and are now living separate lives.

Kim explained that she and Jonathan are doing well, but it’s been challenging to stay close since she had kids. Juggling motherhood makes it hard to keep up friendships, and Jonathan has a busy lifestyle and isn’t often around Calabasas.

Khloe added of the Food God’s busy lifestyle, noting, “I get that. There’s so much history there.”

Kim Kardashian and her family showed that Jonathan remains close to them, sharing that he was at their mother, Kris Jenner’s, 70th birthday party last November. Kim even FaceTimed him during their podcast, proving he’s still very much a part of their lives and keeps up with everything they’re doing.

I was chatting with Jonathan, and he told me that a recent party was genuinely one of the best he’d been to in years – honestly, he said it felt like they just don’t make parties like that anymore. It really stood out to him, and he felt it was a special event.

Even though Kim and Jonathan haven’t been seen together publicly recently, she fondly remembers when they first became friends and playfully posed for photos with the paparazzi.

I remember one time Jonathan and I were at a restaurant and overheard someone talking about Britney Spears staying at a hotel in New York. It was pretty surreal! Then, to make it even crazier, someone at our dinner had this incredible Phantom Rolls Royce. We were struggling to even flag down a taxi, so we sheepishly asked if they might be willing to give us a lift to our hotel, and surprisingly, they said yes! It was definitely a ‘pinch-me’ moment.

From there, Kim recalled the moment she and Jonathan got the attention of the paparazzi.

We left the hotel with a driver, and as soon as we stepped out, there were paparazzi everywhere, waiting for Britney. They hadn’t started following us yet, but they immediately began calling out, ‘Kim, are you visiting Britney?’ Jonathan quickly told me to keep my head down and not say anything.

According to Kim, her and Jonathan’s plan worked.

She explained they would spend about twenty minutes on the phone in a hotel phone booth. When they came out, people would immediately ask about Britney Spears. They felt like they’d cleverly worked the system, and the story was all over the tabloids – they thought they were succeeding brilliantly.

Jonathan also gave Kim a lesson in working the paparazzi that she uses ‘til this day.

Khloe recalled Jonathan telling her, “You need to stop smiling.” He pointed out that “Victoria Beckham never smiles,” and Khloe said she would immediately stop smiling after leaving the store, Intermix, because of his advice.
