Kim Kardashian Has Priceless Reaction to All’s Fair Criticism

Kim Kardashian has been keeping up with the response to her All’s Fair.

The Kardashian star responded to the negative reviews of her new Hulu series, which initially received a zero percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes after it premiered on November 4th.

On November 6th, Kim shared photos on Instagram with her co-stars Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, and Niecy Nash, plus the show’s creator, Ryan Murphy. She jokingly asked if people were watching what she called “the most critically acclaimed show of the year,” All’s Fair, which is now streaming on Hulu and Disney+.

She intentionally mixed in screenshots of both positive and negative tweets about the show between the photos in her carousel post.

Okay, so I’ve heard the criticism – apparently, the acting isn’t always top-notch, the plots are pretty formulaic, and let’s just say the fashion choices are…bold. But honestly? I’m completely hooked! It’s a guilty pleasure, and I’m already hoping they make it for years to come. I need more, and I think a lot of other people do too!

A recent tweet about the Hulu show All’s Fair playfully questioned whether a show even needs to be good to exist, and concluded that, no, it doesn’t. The tweet humorously pointed out that the show features highly acclaimed actresses delivering what might be their worst performances ever, suggesting it takes a unique skill to elicit such results. The writer described the show as “Amazeballs.”

The 45-year-old also mentioned a tweet suggesting the show’s negative reviews might have actually encouraged more people to watch it.

The post highlighted that negative reviews actually led more people to check out and enjoy the show, All’s Fair.

To demonstrate this, Kim posted a screenshot from Disney confirming that All’s Fair is the number one show in 28 countries, making it the most popular title on Disney+ worldwide.

Kim Kardashian, who created SKIMS, isn’t the only person involved with the show All’s Fair – featuring Glenn Close and Teyana Taylor – to speak up in its defense. The show’s director, Anthony Hemingway, also shared his thoughts on how people reacted after it came out.

He told The Hollywood Reporter in a recent interview that you can’t expect everyone to be happy with your work. He explained that while some people might criticize it, many others will love it. He believes the show reflects viewers’ own lives and asks them to consider if they can connect with it and see themselves represented.

He added that something might not be right for you, or something you can relate to, and he believes that applies to anything you see on TV or in movies.

While ‘All’s Fair’ is debuting this fall, it’s not the only new show coming out. Here are the premiere dates for other eagerly awaited TV series…
