Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton’s romance is speeding up.
Kim Kardashian, the founder of SKIMS, publicly confirmed her relationship with Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton on Instagram on June 1st. Dating rumors about the pair first began circulating in January.
While biking through New York City, 41-year-old Lewis snapped a funny photo of 45-year-old Kim almost falling off her bike.
While trying to take a selfie with her new boyfriend during a bike ride, the Kardashian family member lost her balance and screamed.
She shared the post, which included photos of her children – North West, 12, Saint West, 10, Chicago West, 8, and Psalm West, 7, as well as her ex-husband Kanye West – with the simple caption, “lately.”
The couple’s hard launch comes weeks after they stepped out hand-in-hand for the very first time.
The couple left the James Earle Jones Theater on May 5th after attending a performance of the Broadway play Fear of 13. The race car driver guided the reality star to a waiting car, holding her hand throughout.
Lewis dressed for the event in a coordinated grey outfit consisting of relaxed-fit pants and a bomber jacket. He completed the look with brown lace-up boots and several necklaces.
Kim wore a turquoise, corset-style top with cutouts on the chest and arms. She paired it with asymmetrical light-wash jeans and heels.
The couple has generally kept their relationship private, but they were seen on a romantic beach date last month. Her daughter, North, accompanied them at the Coachella music festival in April.
It’s obvious Lewis made a strong effort to win Kim over. She’s talked before about how difficult dating can be, so his success is noteworthy.
She explained on an episode of The Kardashians that the longer you’re single, the more used to being on your own you become. Eventually, the idea of sharing things like your bed or favorite shows with someone else just doesn’t seem as appealing because you get comfortable with your routine.
Still, she was open to the idea of dating again.
She said then that she’d be completely prepared when she met the right person, and that things would work out well.
