Kim Kardashian is keeping up with her legal studies.
The actress from All’s Fair, who finished law school in May after six years of study, recently shared an update on receiving her official degree.
Kim recently shared on The Graham Norton Show that she’s starting a new movie in January and is hopeful for another season of All’s Fair. She also expressed her desire to keep learning and growing, and to follow wherever her career leads.
The Kardashians star added that she’s expecting to receive the results of her bar exam any day now.
She said she’ll finish her training in two weeks and hopes to become a lawyer. She envisions a future where, perhaps in ten years, she’ll leave her current career and pursue her dream of being a trial lawyer – that’s her true passion.
Kim shared her feelings about graduating this spring and explained what kept her motivated through the challenging journey.
In a recent Instagram post, Kim shared that six years ago, she started a challenging journey to become a lawyer. She admitted it was difficult and took longer than expected, but she persevered. She described facing doubt and emotional challenges throughout her studies, but also celebrated the rewarding feeling of mastering subjects she once found intimidating.

Kim Kardashian also described how her Law Office Study program works. Instead of going to law school, students complete four-year apprenticeships at actual law firms.
She explained that she completed a demanding law program approved by the California State Bar. Although it was designed to take four years, it ended up taking six, building on the 75 college credits she’d already earned. She felt the process was challenging, but she was proud of what she achieved.
Kim shared that this experience has changed her deeply and that she’ll always remember what she learned. She ended by saying, “Let’s celebrate overcoming challenges and starting fresh!”
If Kim decides to pursue a career as a lawyer, she’ll join a number of other celebrities who have chosen more traditional professions. Here’s a look at some stars with everyday jobs…

Nev Schulman, the host of Catfish, got his real estate license in New York. In September 2025, he announced he was starting a career as a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Warburg, just like his father, who has been a broker there for many years.

Kate Gosselin, known from the show Jon & Kate Plus 8, has complained about spending a lot of her money on legal fees during her divorce from Jon Gosselin. However, it seems she’s been happy to go back to working as a nurse.
In an August 2025 TikTok, Kate, a registered nurse working in pediatric home health, explained her approach to visiting patients. She currently works with one family, and she makes sure the children are already familiar with her before she arrives. This helps them feel comfortable and know who she is when she enters their home.
What she knows, though, is that helping others is quite fulfilling.
You know, as someone who looks at ways to support families, I have to say this work is incredibly fulfilling. It’s amazing to be able to step in and give parents a much-needed break when they have a child with complex medical needs. It allows them to focus on their other children and simply recharge – something every parent deserves.

Drew Barrymore has always been a dedicated worker. While she now hosts The Drew Barrymore Show, she had to hustle to make ends meet when she became independent from her mother, Jaid Barrymore, at just 14 years old.
The actress explained in her 2015 memoir, Wildflower, that she needed a job near her and her friend’s rental home. Her friend worked at a coffee shop in the area, and the actress couldn’t drive at the time, so she had to find something within walking distance.
She described the early 1990s as a time when coffeehouses were the popular gathering places, recalling her work at a trendy Los Angeles spot called the Living Room, where crowds would spill out onto the street each night. However, she admitted she wasn’t a particularly good employee, or good at much of anything, having only really pursued acting and lived a somewhat chaotic life.
She served up the tea on one tense experience in her book.
My boss, who’d taken a chance on me because I was a former child actor trying something new, was understanding of my mistakes, but also clearly frustrated. I remember he came in while I was washing dishes and snapped at me, ‘Don’t use the scrubby side of the brush! You’re scratching and clouding up the pastry cases, so people can’t see what’s inside!’

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always fascinated by what people do after reality TV! Many of you may remember Leah Kateb from Love Island USA, and I recently learned she’s thriving in the corporate world. She’s actually the Chief Creative Officer at Skylar, a fragrance company, and is helping to revitalize the brand – she calls herself a ‘re-founder,’ which I think is a great way to put it. It’s inspiring to see her passion translate into a new career path!

Lifeguard on duty!
Noah Schnapp, known for his role in Stranger Things, also works as a lifeguard during the summer. In a 2022 interview with Flaunt magazine, he shared that he has a part-time job at his local pool when he’s not filming.
He described it as a hobby, something he does for enjoyment. Having a typical life and close friends outside of the show Stranger Things has helped him stay balanced and down-to-earth.

Erik von Detten was a teen heartthrob in the late 90s and early 2000s, starring in movies like Escape to Witch Mountain, Brink!, and The Princess Diaries. After a final acting role – a voice part in Toy Story 3 in 2010 – he shifted careers and began working in finance.
Around the same time my acting work began to decrease in my early 20s, I started a new job with a financial company at age 25,” von Detten explained in a 2021 interview with TopMob. “I’ve been there ever since. I started in sales and have since moved into a management role, and it’s been a great fit.”

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Nikki Blonsky, Tracy Turnblad herself from the Hairspray movie back in 2007, was reportedly working as a makeup artist at a salon on Long Island! I was so shocked when I read it. Like, a Golden Globe nominee…doing makeup? It’s just… amazing and a little heartbreaking all at once. I’m so proud of her for working, but still! Tracy Turnblad! It’s wild!
In a 2011 post on X (formerly Twitter), Blonsky shared that she was working as a makeup artist at Superstar Salon and contributing financially. She emphasized that despite having a job, she would never give up on her aspirations.

Best known for playing Officer Ponch in the TV show CHiPs, which aired from 1977 to 1983, Erik Estrada continued to work with law enforcement after the series ended. He became a reserve officer with the Muncie Police Department in Indiana, then moved to Virginia and worked as an investigator for the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force. In 2016, he again served as a reserve police officer, this time in St. Anthony, Idaho.

Ethan Craft serving as your real estate agent? That’s what dreams are made of!
Clayton Snyder, who played a popular character on Lizzie McGuire, decided not to continue acting after the show finished. He preferred to concentrate on playing water polo and eventually competed for Pepperdine University in California.
In a 2022 interview with TopMob News, Snyder said he was actually relieved when the show ended. He explained that he was looking forward to starting high school and beginning a new phase of his life, putting that chapter behind him.
These days, Snyder is a real estate agent in Los Angeles, but people still sometimes mention his time as a child actor.
He explained he hopes people choose to work with him because of his skills and experience. He enjoys when clients recognize him from other work – he’s had people realize who he is mid-house-hunt – but emphasizes that he wants to be valued for his expertise, not just his public profile. Knowing clients chose him for his abilities is what truly matters to him.

Did you know that before The Jonas Brothers reunited, the oldest brother, Kevin Jonas, ran a construction company in New Jersey? He also became a co-CEO of The Blu Market, a company that works with social media influencers.

Charlie Korsmo, the actor who starred in films like Hook and Can’t Hardly Wait, traded Hollywood for a career in law. Today, he’s a professor teaching corporate law and finance at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
In 2011, President Barack Obama appointed Korsmo to the Board of Trustees for the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation.

Yep, Charlie gave up the chocolate factory.
Peter Ostrum is best known for playing Charlie Bucket in the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Surprisingly, this was his only acting role. After earning a veterinary degree from Cornell University in 1984, he became a practicing veterinarian.

Jennifer Stone, known for her role as Harper Finkle on Wizards of Waverly Place, became a registered nurse in 2019. She then joined healthcare workers battling the coronavirus pandemic, swapping her character’s colorful style for scrubs.
On World Health Day in 2020, Stone shared on Instagram that a friend, @maiarawalsh, reminded her of a significant personal milestone. It marked her journey from a volunteer to a student nurse, and now, to a resident nurse. She expressed hope to contribute as effectively as the dedicated healthcare workers currently on the front lines as she prepared to join them.

Ross Bagley, who starred as Buckwheat in The Little Rascals and Nicky Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, has transitioned from acting and now works as a real estate agent in Los Angeles.

So long, Truffle Shuffle, hello, habeus corpus.
Jeff Cohen, best known for playing Chunk in the movie The Goonies, left acting and became a lawyer. He now works as an entertainment lawyer in Los Angeles.

Following his role as the intense Duncan Kane on Veronica Mars, Teddy Dunn pursued a career in law and worked as an Assistant United States Attorney in Washington, D.C.

Phoebe Cates became famous for her roles in movies like Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Gremlins, and Drop Dead Fred. In the 1990s, she decided to stop acting after starting a family with her husband, actor Kevin Kline, and having two children.
Cates went on to open Blue Tree, a gift boutique on New York City’s Madison Avenue, in 2005.

After playing Nevel on the Nickelodeon show iCarly, Reed Alexander pursued a career in journalism, contributing to publications like Business Insider and the Wall Street Journal.
