Kim shared a disturbing story during her conversation on the Call Her Daddy podcast. Host Alex Cooper asked about Kanye’s 2022 music video for “Eazy,” which Kim found upsetting. The video showed an animated version of Pete Davidson being kidnapped, buried, and then having roses grow from his head.

Kim, 44, shared on the podcast that she felt deeply saddened by the situation, saying it wasn’t fair to the person involved and that she truly felt sorry for him.

Although Kim Kardashian was bothered by the joke, she said her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson, who she dated from 2021 to 2022, didn’t seem to mind.

She remembered him as incredibly confident, always seeming to say, ‘I can handle this, everything’s okay.’ Or, at least, he projected that image. She added that being in his situation must have been very difficult.

Kim, who shares four children – North (12), Psalm (9), Chicago (7), and Saint (6) – with Kanye, also mentioned that his continued presence in her life impacted her other relationships.

Kim shared that she’s sometimes gotten close to someone only to find out they didn’t want to discuss their past relationships. She admitted it’s been a bit annoying, but she believes the right person for her wouldn’t be bothered by that.

Kim said that they’ll likely respond whenever he reaches out and asks, but she admitted it’s been about two months since they last heard from him.

When explaining Kanye West’s absence to her children, the mother said they always understood he traveled a lot for work and was frequently on tour. She explained that he enjoys living in different countries and they’ve adjusted well to his lifestyle.

She explained that her four children thrive on routine and predictability. She sees her main role as a mother as ensuring they maintain that routine and stay healthy and happy.

Kim also voiced her annoyance with the idea that she prevents her children from seeing Kanye West, stating, “I have never done that.”

As she put it, “It’s not a kidnapping, it’s a divorce.”

“I am single,” she confirmed. “And I feel totally, totally content. I’ve been single for a while.”

Kim revealed that she’s currently enjoying being single, noting it’s been a long time since her last relationship, and explained she’s prioritizing other areas of her life right now.

She explained that her children are her priority right now. She’s very busy with family life and feels she needs to be fully present for them.
