Kim Kardashian Slams Criticism of North West’s Fake Tattoos, Piercings

Kim Kardashian is dropping hints that she’s unbothered.

Kim Kardashian addressed the recent look her 12-year-old daughter, North West, debuted online. North, who she shares with Kanye West, sported temporary face tattoos, a fake nose ring, and colored contacts. Kardashian downplayed the look, saying it wasn’t as shocking as some people thought.

Following a TikTok video posted on October 22nd that suggested fans were concerned about North’s recent appearance, Kim Kardashian, 45, responded from her and North’s shared account, calling the matter “a non-issue.”

Kim Kardashian, who has four children – North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm – with Kanye West, has always supported her daughter North in expressing her individual style, even if others don’t approve.

Kim explained to Alex Cooper on the October 15th episode of Call Her Daddy that she supports her daughter’s self-expression, saying, ‘If she wants blue hair, that’s her choice.’ She added that seeing her daughter happy is what matters, and she would never stifle her creativity.

North, who Kim often notes prefers a more traditionally masculine style of dress, has become very self-assured.

My daughter is very self-assured. She’ll say something like, ‘Mom, I don’t mind if people don’t like my hair or anything else I do.’ She’s confident enough to know she wouldn’t want to associate with people who judge her.

Kim’s approach to parenting seems to have created a strong connection with her daughter, North, who recently shared a sweet and touching birthday message for her mom.

On October 21st, she posted a birthday message to her mom on TikTok Stories, saying, “I love you so much and I hope you have the best birthday ever! Thank you for always being there for me and for all your support!”
