Kirby Air Riders is Getting its Own Unique amiibo That Can Swap Vehicles, Level Up

In the latest Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that they’re releasing new amiibo figures tied to the upcoming “Kirby Air Riders” game, and these figures will be available on November 20, which is the same day as the game launch itself. Additional amiibo from the series are planned for release in the future.

The Kirby Air Riders-themed amiibo stand out distinctly from other Nintendo amiibos launched during the past decade. Unlike traditional figures, these amiibos can be interchanged with each other. When inserted into different vehicles (which will be accessible in the upcoming game), they don’t just offer aesthetic modifications but serve multiple functions as well.

The vehicles now come equipped with built-in chips that allow them to identify Amiibo figures placed within. Additionally, Nintendo has made it known that these Amiibo can progressively level up as gamers engage in additional challenges and races within Kirby Air Ride.

Get started with an exciting announcement! On November 20, we’ll introduce two unique amiibo figures, known as Swap Riders: Kirby and Bandana Dee. Each of these amiibos will come with a matching vehicle that can interchangeably be used with the other figure.
