Kirsten Dunst Reveals Which of Her Movies Her Kids Have Seen

Kirsten Dunst is raising her own little fan club.

As for her children Ennis, aged 7, and James, 4 – whom she has with husband Jesse Plemons – it turns out that the Spider-Man actress has found them quite the frequent viewers of her films.

At the world premiere of ‘Roofman’ at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, Kirsten shared with Francesca Amiker from TopMob News that they have watched ‘Jumanji’, had a glimpse of ‘Spider-Man’, and also enjoyed ‘Small Soldiers’.

Regarding what comes next, she finds the movie titled “Roofman,” a production inspired by the true story of Jeffrey Manchester, a notorious criminal who committed numerous fast-food store heists before breaking out of prison and taking refuge in a toy shop, to be suitable for family viewing and is eager to share it with her children.

The movie is utterly extraordinary,” the 43-year-old exclaimed. “Who on earth burgles forty-five McDonald’s, evades capture, and repeatedly breaks out of prison? It’s simply astonishing how unbelievable this story is.

However, as soon as they were on the film set together with co-star Channing Tatum, the complex narrative seemed effortless for both of them to reenact.

Kirsten pointed out that she and Channing, the Magic Mike actor, are both open-minded individuals,” she said. “Since we needed to be incredibly close with one another for our roles, we naturally became each other’s sources of comfort and support on the film set.

Prior to their children observing the remarkable connection between their mother and Channing in movies, it appears that they are already ardent admirers of Peter Parker and MJ’s heartwarming romance on screen.

In the year 2023, Kirsten posted a picture of one of her sons seeking shelter under a large red umbrella adorned with Spider-Man’s mask.

Though, as she captioned the Instagram post at the time, “Has no clue his mom was MJ.”

Ennis and James generally avoid technology and only occasionally watch movies, leading them to live a mostly tech-free life.

Kirsten clarified to Variety last April that our household isn’t just like asking Siri to play anything casually. Our children don’t own iPads either. If they need an iPad during a flight, it belongs to Dad. Additionally, we are not the type of family who uses phones at restaurants.

The actress known for her role in “Bring It On” clarified later on that her stringent rules are justified, explaining, “I’m not nurturing a child who can’t engage in discussions during mealtime.
