Konami is creating a new game called *Wai Wai World Craft* (the name might change), which will let players create their own games. It’s coming to PC through Steam, as well as iOS and Android devices. The game will be free to download and play, with optional purchases for in-game items and a subscription service. Konami hasn’t announced when the game will be released yet.
Here are the first details:
About
Wai Wai World Craft is a new game project built on the foundation of user-generated content.
As a longtime gamer, I’ve always dreamed of making my own game and letting others experience it. This tool finally makes that possible – it lets anyone, even without coding experience, turn their game ideas into something people can actually play!
Instead of building a game world completely from the ground up, the “World Editor” lets you easily modify existing official game worlds and rules. This allows you to add your own unique style and create a truly personalized gaming experience.
If you’re new to game development, or just want a simpler way to get started, the “Magic Pod” can help. It asks you a few questions and then automatically creates a game for you in around three minutes.
Once your game is complete, you can publish it for others to play.
Key Features
- Easy and Full-Scale “Game Creation” on PCs and Tablets – Whether you are creating a game through conversation with the “Magic Pod” or fine-tuning the details with the “World Editor,” Wai Wai World Craft offers a wide range of game creation styles. Completed games can be freely played anytime, anywhere, and by anyone on PCs, tablets, and smartphones.
- Popular Konami Characters Also Appear – Various well-known Konami characters can be used as player characters or enemies.
