Kim Kardashian addressed a photo that was mistakenly posted on MAC Cosmetics’ Instagram. The black and white image, meant for internal use only, had the words “for internal use only” printed on it, and Kris Jenner immediately questioned how it had been leaked when she saw the post on September 16th.

The supposed leak was actually a planned promotion with the makeup brand. In a video released shortly after MAC’s post, Kris Jenner pretended to be upset, answering a ringing phone and saying, “What do you mean the photo leaked? You can’t get anything right? And get our lawyer on the phone!”

So, why did Kris partner up with MAC?

She told *Elle* magazine in a September 16th interview that she’s been a longtime fan of the brand, appreciating their focus on letting people be themselves. She was thrilled to finally collaborate with them and really loves the new campaign.

She explained that while filming for the campaign was a little scary, she focused on being genuine and just being herself.

Kris explained that she carefully considers how each project fits with her overall aspirations, saying, “I basically manage myself, in a lot of ways!”
