Kristen Bell Details “the Real Stuff” in Family Bond With Dax Shepard

Kristen Bell wouldn’t be against freezing time.

Kristen Bell, known for her role in Frozen, recently shared a touching post about her family. She highlighted the strong connection between her, her husband Dax Shepard, and their two children, 13-year-old Lincoln and 11-year-old Delta, while celebrating Lincoln’s birthday.

Kristen shared a sweet Instagram post celebrating her daughter’s 13th birthday. Along with a video of cherished family memories, she wrote that getting to know her daughter’s personality – her humor, kindness, and adventurous spirit – has brought her family an incredible, indescribable joy.

She constantly emphasizes how important family is – it’s what truly matters, she says. She also reminds us that there’s nothing quite like the comfort of holding someone’s hand.

The Nobody Wants This star also shared a glimpse into the relatable woes of parenting.  

She described parenting as the most challenging and rewarding experience of her life. She expressed gratitude to the positive influences in her daughters’ lives, especially Mrs. Browne, and to the community who helped them learn how to be good parents.

She said, “Watching her grow and falling in love with this child is the best feeling in the world.” She also wished her daughter a happy 13th birthday.

In a new video featuring the song “Sweet Pea” by Amos Lee, 45-year-old Kristen shared previously unseen photos and memories of her daughters.

One video showed Lincoln and Delta playfully dancing in party hats, then happily hugging their dad. Another photo captured one of their daughters singing with her mom, who clearly demonstrated her impressive singing voice, likely honed from her Disney work.

Dax, 51, recently talked about how his daughters reacted to his and Kristen’s on-screen relationship ending in the 2012 film Hit & Run. Despite the couple generally keeping their family life private, he shared that his daughters were really upset when they found out their parents’ characters divorced in the movie.

The actor shared that what really made him happy was that people were upset with his mother, not him. He explained on Jimmy Kimmel Live! while appearing with Kristen, that people saw his mother as unlikeable, but viewed his father as a good person who had made mistakes, and that she should have been willing to forgive him – a sentiment he agreed with.

Although Lincoln and Delta didn’t always agree with the choices their mom’s character made in the movie—though thankfully her character and Dax’s character eventually made up—they both ended up enjoying it.

Dax shared that after finishing their independent film – which his father wrote and directed – some people asked to see it. They hadn’t watched it themselves in a long time, so they decided to watch it with these viewers. Luckily, everyone loved it, even though Dax admitted it’s a bit risqué. He said it was a good way to gauge how their kids might react to the film’s content.
