Kristin Cavallari’s Ex Jay Cutler Gets Jail Time After DUI Charge

Jay Cutler is gearing up to serve time.

Previously notable player for the Chicago Bears received a prison sentence of four days following his admission of guilt for a minor DUI charge, which was related to his October 2024 arrest in Franklin, Tennessee, according to information from law enforcement officials shared with TMZ.

Apart from serving jail time, Jay, who has children Camden (age 13), Jaxon (age 11), and Saylor (age 9) with his ex-wife Kristin Cavallari, was also mandated to pay a $350 fine, participate in a DUI safety course, and undergo one year of monitored probation, according to the outlet’s sources.

In addition to the first charge, Jay, aged 42, was also confronted with a second allegation involving unlawful possession of a firearm while intoxicated, connected to his apprehension. However, this charge was dropped following his relinquishment of the weapon, according to TMZ’s report.

TopMob News has reached out to authorities as well as Jay’s rep for comment but has not heard back.

During the day of his apprehension, authorities reportedly characterized the NFL quarterback’s speech as heavily accented, slurred, and difficult to understand, and his eyes as red, based on a police affidavit shared with TopMob News.

Despite Jay initially denying any alcohol consumption, a strong scent of alcohol was detected on him, according to police reports. However, later in the proceedings, he confessed to having consumed a small amount.

The affidavit additionally mentioned that Jay declined the roadside sobriety exam, however, subsequently consented to a blood test conducted at Williamson Medical Center.

Although Jay hasn’t openly addressed his arrest, he’s lately expressed opinions regarding his ex’s supposedly rash claim that she hadn’t received any financial gains from their divorce in 2020.

He stated in the August 14th episode of his ‘Take It Outside’ podcast that it’s almost defamatory to suggest that no money was divided during their marriage, as each side received. He finds this idea absurd and utterly false.

Jay wasn’t specific about the exact amount of his settlement with Kristin, but he did assure everyone that it was “certainly not nothing.
