And just like that, Kristin Davis is righting a wrong.
Kristin Davis, known for her role in *Sex and the City*, apologized to Bridget Moynahan for not being welcoming to her when Moynahan first joined the show as Chris Noth’s on-screen wife, Natasha. This happened both during the original series and the recent reboot, *And Just Like That*.
Kristin, 60, shared on the October 6th episode of the Are You a Charlotte podcast that she used to make an effort to be friendly with guest stars—who were often men—because she understood how intimidating it could be for them to come onto the show.
Because Kristin played the character often seen as Carrie’s rival, she realized she had unconsciously started to think like Charlotte.
Kristin admitted to Bridget that she hadn’t been very kind, saying, “I’m really sorry about how I treated you.”
But for Bridget, it’s all water under the bridge.
“It’s OK now,” she said with a laugh. “Don’t worry.”
Besides, the two have since struck up an IRL friendship.
Bridget remembered seeing Kristin at the gym frequently and initially being puzzled by her friendliness.
Kristin explained that by that point in the performance, they had dropped their roles and she was able to simply be herself.
In retrospect, the former star of *Melrose Place* admitted she felt foolish that her character on the show had started to influence her actual personality.
Kristin shared that she didn’t handle it well when she perceived someone as a threat to her friend. She also mentioned that with time and space, she learned to keep her professional and personal life separate.
Kristin wasn’t alone in subtly mixing up who she was with her character on *Sex and the City*. Some fans have also become deeply invested in Natasha’s story.
Bridget explained that people really loved Big and Carrie as a couple, and she felt like she was an obstacle. She even found herself saying things like, ‘Wait a minute – she was having an affair with my husband. Let’s think about this logically.’

Ugh, what an a–hole.
Best moment: N/A.
It’s difficult to fondly recall the couple’s sweet, playful beginnings once you remember how badly things turned later, with all the hurtful, indirect behavior. He ended the relationship by leaving her a breakup note on a Post-it note.
Best moment: None are coming to mind at the moment, Berger. We’re sorry, we can’t. Don’t hate us.
No one believed this relationship would last, right? Still, Samantha gave it the ol’ college try.
The highlight of the night was when, after Samantha confronted Big and told him to stay away, Maria pointed out to Samantha that she clearly had feelings for him and couldn’t simply be friends.
Did anyone predict this twist in the Max revival, *And Just Like That…?* Miranda divorcing her husband and chasing after a comedian? It definitely came as a surprise!
The funniest moment was definitely when Che and Miranda had a romantic encounter right in Carrie’s kitchen, while Carrie, who was recovering from hip surgery, accidentally wet the bed. It was just a hilariously awkward situation.
Their romance with the Russian seemed perfect at first, but it quickly fell apart. He clashed with Carrie’s friends, and her sudden decision to move to Paris ended the relationship disastrously.
The most memorable scene? After a series of over-the-top romantic displays, Carrie actually fainted! Then, surprisingly, Petrovsky took her, still wearing her beautiful gown, to McDonald’s, where they shared a sweet, slow dance while waiting for their food. It was a truly swoon-worthy moment.
Trey seemed ideal for Charlotte on the surface, but problems quickly emerged after their wedding. His mother was controlling, he struggled with intimacy, and he didn’t want children. To top it all off, he actually gave her a cardboard cutout of a baby – it was a bizarre and upsetting gesture!
The sweetest moment was when Trey surprised Charlotte with a trip to Tiffany’s, letting her choose any ring she wanted. It was his way of making amends for his previously awkward “Alrighty!” remark.
Samantha’s first relationship built on something other than physical attraction ended because of a sexual issue – specifically, her partner James having a small penis.
Best moment: When Samantha told James she loved him. A huge (no pun intended) moment for her.
Poor, poor Skipper. He was kind of like a Steve-lite, and Miranda was able to walk all over him.
Best moment: When he calls her “luminous” during their chance meeting at a bodega.
It was a surprise when Carrie’s best friend and Charlotte’s wedding planner became a couple on the show, but many fans actually like them together.
The most touching moment was during their vows, when Anthony shared, “It wasn’t love at first sight, but it definitely became love. You’re the first person who truly accepted me for who I am.”
Aidan was a good person, but he and Carrie just weren’t a good match, even though they both wished they were. But the new season of *And Just Like That…* suggests that maybe second chances are in style this summer. (We’re choosing to forget about their brief fling in *Sex and the City 2*.)
Our favorite part was surprisingly the second breakup scene, where they shared a vulnerable moment sleeping on the floor of an apartment they’d never actually get to live in together.
Robert seemed like a dream guy – a handsome doctor for the Knicks who even shared Miranda’s taste in TV. The only problem was, he wasn’t Steve.
Some of their sweetest moments included their first kiss by the mailboxes, her unexpectedly taking a day off work just to be with him, and even a funny incident involving chickenpox.
Among all of Samantha’s love interests on *Sex and the City*, Smith Jerrod was arguably the most understanding. He showed incredible patience and generosity with Samantha, who fiercely resisted falling for him despite his charm and success.
As a huge fan, I still get emotional remembering when Smith shaved his head to support Samantha during her chemotherapy. It was such a powerfully sweet and selfless gesture, and honestly, it’s one of the most touching things I’ve ever seen. It really showed how much he cared for her!
Absof–kinglutely. (Curse you, Peloton!)
The best moment? It has to be Big finally declaring his love for Carrie in Paris! Though, we still can’t help but laugh at that silly prank with the whoopee cushion.
We were just as surprised by Miranda’s feelings for Steve as we were by their breakup in the first season of *And Just Like That…*. We’re still rooting for Steve!
The most iconic moment for Miranda and Steve perfectly captured their relaxed relationship: Miranda’s surprise proposal and their simple, sweet wedding in the park. It was classic them, and absolutely perfect.
Honestly, I never thought *he* of all people would be…everything. After the divorce, I was a mess, and my lawyer? Let’s just say he wasn’t exactly Prince Charming at first. But then…something shifted. He turned out to be the most amazing dad to my kids, and…well, the man of my dreams. It was totally unexpected, but I’m completely obsessed with him now!
The most memorable moment was their wonderfully messy, yet perfect wedding. Throughout the series, Charlotte dreamed of a fairytale wedding, but she ultimately found something even better – a truly magical marriage.
Family is the most important thing in life. Relationships can be complicated, with ups and downs, but family—whether the one you’re born into or the one you create—is where you ultimately find belonging and support.
It was hard to pick just one, but the most impactful moment was when Miranda instantly forgot about her wedding after learning about Samantha’s cancer diagnosis. All four friends came together, prioritizing their connection and support for each other. That moment perfectly showed what true friendship is all about – putting your friends’ needs first.
