I’m so excited about Kumitantei: Old-School Slaughter! It’s a really unique game – it’s an adventure where you solve murder mysteries using cards, but it’s got this amazing retro anime style and a creepy, analog horror vibe. Plus, it’s structured like a killing game! The developers are planning to release it in six episodes, starting in early 2026, and I can’t wait!

Okay, so the game drops you into this crazy scenario: it’s 1989 Japan, but things are seriously messed up. I woke up in this rundown bunker with fifteen other super-powered students, and we’re all part of this messed-up experiment called ‘Apathy.’ Basically, it’s a fight for survival – we either team up to figure out what happened to this weird, forgotten version of Japan, or we end up losing ourselves – and our lives – right now. It’s intense!

Inspired by the art of Rumiko Takahashi’s Urusei Yatsura and classic 80s anime, as well as mystery-adventure games like Danganronpa and Ace Attorney, Kumitantei puts you in a thrilling, character-focused killing game. Your ability to build a strong deck and solve mysteries are your only hope for survival.
