Kylie Jenner Makes Acting Debut in Charli XCX’s The Moment Trailer

Rise and shine because Kylie Jenner just expanded her resume.

Kim Kardashian, known for her reality show The Kardashians, is set to make her first appearance as an actress in Charli XCX’s film The Moment. A trailer offering a sneak peek was released on December 10th.

In the clip, which is presented as a fake documentary, the founder of Khy seems to be giving guidance to a troubled version of Charli.

Kylie advised Charli, “When people start to tire of you, that’s the time to really push yourself even more.”

The movie, releasing on January 30, 2026, stars Charli as a fictionalized version of herself. It shows her dealing with sudden fame and the challenges of the music world as she prepares for a large concert tour.

“Hey, it’s Charli XCX,” she says in another part of the trailer, while a manager suggests she share a fan’s message. She playfully asks, “Is it a ‘brat summer’… sorry, what was that again?”

Charli got the idea for the film when her record label suggested she create a documentary about her popular album, brat, and the tour that followed.

Charli explained to Vanity Fair in October that the project isn’t a traditional tour documentary or concert film, though the idea came from being asked to make one. She described it as a fictional story that feels incredibly authentic to how the music industry actually works.

Okay, so besides Kylie, the cast is AMAZING – Alexander Skarsgård, Kate Berlant, and Rachel Sennott are all in it! I’m seriously losing it. But honestly, I don’t think Kylie’s going to become a full-time actress like Kim. She’s Kylie, you know? This is probably just a fun little thing for her, and I’m totally okay with that as long as I get to see her on screen!

Turning 30 is approaching, and I really don’t want to have any regrets later in life. This is something I’ve always dreamed of doing,” the 28-year-old mother of Stormi, 7, and Aire, 3, (with ex Travis Scott) shared in a recent YouTube interview. “I’m not expecting to be as successful as someone like Adele, but I want to see if I can actually pull it off.”

The cast is incredible too, featuring talents like Colin Hanks, Leo Woodall, John Slattery, Michael Shannon, and Richard E. Grant – it’s definitely a thought-provoking watch.
