Kylie Jenner Reveals Baby Name She Chose for Son Aire Before Wolf

As a dedicated follower of Kylie Jenner‘s journey, I can’t help but admire her openness about her struggles as a mother. It’s heartwarming to see how deeply she cares for her children and the lengths she goes to ensure they have names that truly reflect their unique identities.

Kylie Jenner admits she’s not good with names.

In other words, the star of The Kardashians was indicating that she and her ex, Travis Scott, had a tough time agreeing on a name for their 2-year-old son. They eventually chose Aire Webster as the name, but it took them a while to make a decision.

“Upon our first encounter, he seemed absolutely stunning to me and I was astonished by his perfection,” she confessed in an interview with British Vogue on August 13. “I felt like a disappointment for not being able to identify him. He deserved so much more than my shortcomings. It brought up some deep emotions.”

Certainly, Kylie, who is a mother to 6-year-old Stormi alongside Travis, contemplated various names for her newborn, Aire. Among them were Wolf, an initial choice when presenting him, and a yet unrevealed name as well.

The 27-year-old mentioned, “For quite some time, my son went by the name Knight.” To this day, my daughter often reminds me of when we called him that, but I can’t recall.”

Instead, the creator of Khy playfully mentioned that Stormi’s presence continues to contribute to his apprehension about discovering a suitable name for his young child.

“She said, ‘Mom, that joke was hilarious! I prefer Knight,'” Kylie commented. “To which I replied, ‘Alright, let’s agree that we won’t revisit that situation again.'”

Certainly, Kylie faced quite a journey when choosing a surname for her daughter Aire. Eventually, she selected a Hebrew name that translates to “God’s Lion.”

Just a short while following Aire’s birth in February 2022, Kylie revealed his original name—Wolf Webster—on her Instagram Stories, accompanied by a simple heart emoji within a post that lacked any other images.

As a die-hard fan, I’ve always wondered about Kylie, who’s been in a relationship with Timothée Chalamet since 2023. You see, behind the glitz and glamour, she confided to me that the nickname wasn’t her true self. In a moment of hormonal turmoil following childbirth, she adopted it as a temporary escape. But make no mistake, my dear fellow fans, her real identity continues to captivate us all!

In a 2022 episode of the Kardashians, she mentioned that we were required to put our signatures on the birth certificate because if we didn’t, they would register him without a name or a Social Security number. Since I wanted to avoid this situation, I felt compelled to pick his name. Immediately after signing the document, I couldn’t help but wonder, “What have I just done?”

Afterward, the cosmetic entrepreneur elaborated on weeping in the shower and struggling to decide on a name for her newborn, an issue she linked to her postpartum depression as well.

In that previous episode, Kylie offered this advice: “Identify a name for your baby before your hormones become overwhelming and you’re expecting.” She explained, “I was feeling so emotional about him, I couldn’t find a name worthy enough for him.”

As a completely smitten admirer, let me share this: The time it took Kylie to meticulously choose her son’s name is simply one example among many, revealing the profound depth of motherhood she experiences. In her own words to British Vogue, she described it as “everything” to her.

Regardless of whatever challenges I face or the opinions expressed about me online each day, I return home to their boundless affection. They’re completely smitten by me, and this experience has helped me navigate life more smoothly.

To put it simply, Aire and Stormi are enough for her. As she expressed herself, she doesn’t require external validation.
