Kylie Jenner is keeping up with her own trend.
It’s been almost six years since Kim Kardashian’s “rise and shine” moment with her daughter Stormi, then a toddler, went viral. Now, she’s recreated the sweet scene with her three-year-old son, Aire.
On September 26th, Kylie posted a new TikTok video, referencing her earlier “rise and shine” clip. She explained in the caption that she re-shot it with her son, Aire, in the same location – her office.
I remember when Kylie first showed off her singing a while back – it was during a tour of her Kylie Cosmetics office in 2019. But this recent performance felt much more spontaneous! She was comfy and casual, wearing a black robe and still in her hair rollers, which made it feel so real and fun.
The reality star put Aire in his crib and told him to go to sleep, then settled at the foot of the bed and gently sang a cheerful “Rise and shine.”
The little boy quickly sat up, and Kylie lifted him to show him to the camera. As they approached, Aire sweetly sang, “Rise and shine!”
And fans were understandably obsessed with the video.
“SHE RECREATED IT! SHE RECREATED IT!!!” one wrote in the comments. Another added, “okkkk vocals!”
And as one user summed up, “Guys this is so iconic.”
Oh my gosh, this wasn’t even the first time Kylie sang it! I remember being SO excited when she gave us a little preview during an episode of *Kards Katch Up* on TopMob News back in 2022. I literally lost it when I first heard it – she’s just incredible!
“I usually get paid,” she joked at the time. “But I’ll do it just for you.”
Kylie brought back the “rise and shine” phrase again at her 28th birthday party, which included a painting activity. While enjoying wine, guests painted a version of Kylie’s face inside a sun.
When it was first released in 2019, the video quickly became a sensation, and the hashtag #RiseAndShine reached 1 billion views on TikTok faster than any other hashtag at that time. The catchy phrase was also popularized by covers from artists like Miley Cyrus, Cody Simpson, and Ariana Grande.
