Kyoto Xanadu details Masayuki Rikudo, Shu Kadenokoji, Toushu, and LinoN

Falcom recently shared details and images from Kyoto Xanadu, revealing more about the characters Masayuki Rikudo, Shu Kadenokoji, Toushu, and LinoN.

Get the information below.

Masayuki Rikudo (voiced by Shunsuke Takeuchi)

  • Age: 18
  • Soul Device: Odachi types

He’s the leader of Juuikkoku, the school’s strongest team, and also the student council president with a lot of power at Hirasaka Academy.

He holds himself and others to high standards, always maintaining a dignified presence. This quiet strength naturally draws people to follow his lead.

He’s a capable leader and well-respected, but he tends to be distant and dismissive towards his sister, Fuka.

Shu Kadenokoji (voiced by Kazuki Ura)

  • Age: 18
  • Soul Device: Fan and amulet types

This team member, the second-in-command of ‘Juuikkoku,’ is known for being cheerful and speaking with the elegant accent of Kyoto.

He’s part of a family with a long history of leading the Bureau of Onmyo, the Japanese government agency that deals with supernatural threats. He serves as the Bureau’s representative at the academy.

Despite being very different in personality from his childhood best friend, Masayuki, they make a great team. He’s also been friends with Fuka since they were children.

Toushu (voiced by Megumi Toyoguchi)

  • Age: 40

A mysterious woman who conceals her face behind a mask and serves as the head of Hirasaka Academy.

I’m fascinated by this character – she basically collects these powerful people, ‘Chosen Ones’ connected to different groups, and also recruits talented individuals like Rei who are unaffiliated. Then, she sets them loose to fight for control of Hirasaka Xanadu! What’s really interesting is she doesn’t really help any of them; she just watches the chaos unfold, almost like she’s enjoying the show. It’s a really cool dynamic!

LinoN (voiced by Hina Aoki)

Rei is a big fan of a remarkably talented virtual singer who has become famous all over the world.

She’s shared many songs with the world through her virtual persona, but she unexpectedly stopped releasing music about a year ago, sparking a lot of rumors about the reason why.

Kyoto Xanadu is due out for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, Switch, and PC via Steam this summer.
