Love is no game for Lady Gaga.
On September 7th, following her victories in four MTV Video Music Awards, the artist famously known as “Abracadabra” expressed her most heartfelt tribute to her fiancé, Michael Polansky, who played a crucial role in producing her latest album titled “Mayhem.
While conceptualizing this album, mapping out the plan, and envisioning every detail alongside you – endless discussions about the creativity we would bring to life for our “monsters” has been an extraordinary journey that I never could have foreseen. I am overjoyed by how much you care for my fans and strive to make them happy. (Stefani Germanotta, writing on Instagram, Sept. 8)
She expressed, “I’m overjoyed to see that you love them deeply, for it means we can share this love daily. Just like me, you seem equally concerned about people experiencing recognition and validation in the world.
Apart from expressing admiration for her “little monsters,” Lady Gaga commended Michael for his unwavering support of all her endeavors, especially after he proposed to her on April Fool’s Day 2024 in an unusual way – using a blade of grass.
She expressed her deep gratitude for how much he shows love and stands up for her. “You put in countless hours each day, from morning till night, immersed in music, performances, and planning – giving it your all with sweat and tears,” she said. “To witness this journey every step of the way, I feel incredibly fortunate this year. I am truly the luckiest girl alive.
Gaga expressed her boundless affection: ‘I adore you infinitely.’ She went on to say that working together creatively, in both art and business, as well as sharing love, is a kind of devotion she has never experienced before. She acknowledges his versatility, describing him as a true renaissance man, with a brilliant mind and compassionate heart that truly sets him apart. To her, there seems to be no limit to his capabilities.
Speaking about her win as Artist of the Year at the VMAs the previous night, she expressed, “Last night’s honors make you my artist of the year. But more importantly, you are my one and only love. Thank you for turning our wildest dreams into reality. I adore you.
At the VMAs, Gaga made a special mention of Michael, but she could only stay for the initial 15 minutes because she needed to return to her Mayhem concert in Manhattan.
Speaking on stage at the enchanting UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, I turned to the man who’s been by my side through it all, my dear Michael. Crafting this masterpiece together was nothing short of a breathtaking dream. You’ve been an essential partner each step of the journey, and for that, I proudly dedicate this to you, my love.
